"While here front desk security is strick when it comes to visitors. It's a small patient area so visitors are limited. I had a hard time trying to visit a family member & friend. 3 people was up and I think because of the time of day it got cut down to two visitors. Staff is friendly (nurses, maintenance, dinning area). I didn't see any Doctors. I could only hope that the Doctors are as friendly. Place seems clean. I can't tell because of lack of the sterilized scent or smell. I did not see urgent care unit as I was in the housing unit area. Well there are multiple buildings. I guess that specializes in different area of treatment. It's nice to know that LIJ isn't the only big name here in New York."

"This is the worse hospital I've seen. The doctor I had didn't tell me I was discharged til after they ordered me a ride. They gave me a diet that was blatantly unhealthy for me considering I'm a diabetic. The PC techs are rude and lie about what they do so they don't get in trouble. They probably have three good nurses in the whole building. I've personally been stabbed by needles that were just left sitting out in the room theu"

"I've to start by saying I was impressed by this hospital!! I live close by and never wanted to go to this hospital but, unfortunately my very ill father was admitted and sadly passed away on January 21, 2026 I'm very hard broken and devastated . I do want to mentioned that the hospital staff did everything to save my dad and I do thank everyone that took cared of my lovely father, the compassion that each person had I was impressed how much everyone cared for their patients!! I always hesitated to take my dad to Bronx Care and always took him to Mount Sanai where I feel that many of the staff are cold hearted . Thank you Bronx Care for giving my dad his last days with a lot of love, compassion and care."
