Testimonials

Emily Maercklein

"Zack and all the other physical therapists at NRH Rehabilitation Network at 19th St have been amazing! I had two knee surgeries last year. Zack helped me navigate a paralyzed quad muscle post op, and rebuild strength and mobility after 6 weeks of non weight bearing on crutches, and now I'm back to jogging on a treadmill just a few months later. Can't recommend Zack and the rest of the team (including Robin and Emily) highly enough for being so encouraging, knowledgeable, and supportive!"

Jennifer Jessup

"I love NRH! A great staff and a warm and caring atmosphere, I am always treated with respect and overall concern for my wellbeing. My therapist, Emily Trumble is an exceptional professional. She knows her stuff and handles my drama with compassion, patience, and expertise. I'm grateful to Emily, Katie and the entire staff for helping me through such a difficult time. 5"

"The overall care, professionalism, and concern at MedStar Rehabilitation is very good. Jacek was excellent in assessing my "Base level", identifying how to get to place where my ankle can be stabilized and strengthended as for maximum benefit. He was kind, compassionate, and caring. I highly recommend this facility!"

Haseeb Ali

"I can't speak highly enough about the NRH Rehabilitation Network at 19th Street. From March to this month, my shoulder has been rehabbed back to health by Tim and the amazing team there (too many names to shoutout, but if you ever worked with me, this includes you!). Everyone is warm, friendly, professional, and makes every patient feel unique and welcomed at the clinic. Without a doubt, I wouldn't be where I'm at in my surgery recovery had I gone to any other clinic. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone! (But would first recommend not getting injured!)"

John Chambers

"Great staff, facilities and work assignments. I worked with Zack to resolve some knee issues that flared up over the last year or so and he was able to listen to my needs and give me assignments to mitigate the pain. I previously came in 2019 for some shoulder issues, forget who I worked with at the time but had a similar experience then. I recommend this place to anyone else in need of rehabilitation services. Thanks to Zack and the entire NRH team for their assistance!"

"My visits with Medstar National rehabilitation Center have been a learning experience. I workout everyday but still have problems in certain areas. My challenge for my therapist was to point me in the right direction and correct my form. I finally believe I'm on the right path and with the right therapist."

Theresa Poysden

"As an older woman with many orthopedic issues over the years I have gone to Rehab quite often. I came to 19th St about six weeks ago with rotator cuff - wear and tear, the condition caused great pain whenever I moved my left arm. Christian Rinuncini was assigned to me; he gave me a most intense evaluation, also using x-ray information and my input. He was kind and thoughtful, he also explained how the rotator cuff works; he listened to my concerns and expectations. I left the appointment feeling pain relief, something that never happened before in PT - I was looking forward to the next appointment. I told Chris the relief I have gotten from the therapy was life changing. I could move my arm and not squeal in pain; I could dress without difficulty; I saw results! Chris explained to me the need to do my exercises at home to continue the relief; I am following his instructions. Bottom line Chris is a very good Physical Therapist who provided me with 100% relief, thank you."

"The therapists are nice but inexperienced. The assessment was extremely superficial and didn't fully evaluate my issue. They just follow a generic protocol and then charge a huge amount of money that doesn't reflect the quality of service. My symptoms have worsen after a few sessions."
