Testimonials

Jazmin Bender

"I came to Athletico for OT following a second hand surgery. Megan was my OT and made the whole experience great. I felt that she really took the time to get to know me as a person and listened to me as a patient. I was in OT for about 3 months and I saw great progress, I also felt very in the loop on the recovery process. The front desk office staff and all the assistants were also very accommodating when working with me as well. If I ever have to see an OT down the line again, I will for sure be back to this Athletico."

"I want to thank the staff at Athletico Evanston for the outstanding physical therapy they provided. I worked mainly with Alex, and she was absolutely amazing. She is professional, dedicated, highly intelligent, compassionate, and even creative in finding just the right exercises to motivate me and keep it interesting. She actually made it fun. I also worked with Nick and I could say the same about him. He is a great PT and without these two I doubt I would have recovered from my knee injury to the extent that I have. I want to thank Emma and Ashley too for their hard work, their patience, and their sense of humor. Joey and Judd do a wonderful job at the front desk and they are invaluable in keeping the place running smoothly. Almost forgot to mention Chris. I only worked with him once but he was fantastic as well. The atmosphere at Athletico Evanston is just so positive. I cannot say enough good things about it. They kept my spirits high when I was at my lowest."

"For my hand...Meghan was completely awesome. Knows her stuff and great personality for what she does. Friendly, upbeat and caring. For my ankle...Nik B started me off with detailed explanation of how things work at Athletico...start with certified therapist then get assist from interns, etc. then onto Kieran who is as passionate caring and knowledgeable as they come. Nick W too who is laid back and made sure I was pushing myself as I needed to. The whole experience was positive!"

"I had a great experience at Athletico! They were able to get me in relatively quickly, and I spent four months there recovering from a terrible triad injury to my elbow. I especially want to thank Meghan, my therapist, who guided me through that long and complicated journey. Meghan is a very experienced specialist and also a wonderful human being who truly cares about her patients. She helped me recover physically so that I can now carry out daily activities without noticeable limitations, and she also supported me on a personal level during months of recovery, through all the ups and downs. I'll always be grateful to her!"

"I wish I didn't have so much experience with PT, but I can say the Athletico Evanston location (909 Davis St) is a really terrific provider. First, it is the most efficient admin staff I've ever seen at a PT office. Jud and his co-workers were just so quick to respond, and I've never had such an easy time scheduling a flight of appointments anywhere. They open early and I was able to get appts as early as 7am, which was convenient. I've had PT there for 3 different things and also 1 OT referral for my hand. I've seen Art the most and he is very knowledgeable, experienced and a good communicator. He recommended other alternatives when he thought they would help, like dry needling for my shoulder. I saw other PT therapists, and they were all very good. I also appreciated that the interns they employ are well informed and well supervised. I saw Meghan for OT and thought she was excellent, too. I highly recommend the location. It is street parking, but it was very available and usually less than $2."

"Alex was a great physical therapist to work with. The app they provide makes it easy to follow up at home or in the gym. The team at Athletico is top notch - Baker and Will were super helpful."

Jenny Peel

"I've been coming here for the past few weeks for PT for a concussion plus a couple of bonus issues. Their vestibular PT specialists, Katie and Bri, are fantastic--very knowledgeable and personable, and I'm making good progress with my therapy. The PT assistants have all been good, too. And a shoutout to Joey at the front desk--he's friendly and efficient."

"My daughter tore her ACL and we came her to see Lisa both pre-op and post-op. She is an amazing Physical Therapist and helped her stay mentally tough through the process which is so important in the recovery process. The front desk team (Joey) was excellent in working with our schedule as she was in PT for 8 months. Thank you Lisa for taking great care of Mia!"
