"This place has saved me from addictive medication, long term physical therapy, and maybe even surgery. If you need princess treatment or get easily uncomfortable because you need to be talked to and comforted along the way...this ain't the place for you. If you need no nonsense pain relief...go here. They have unlocked frozen shoulders for me. One time I had the most intense hip pain to the point where I could not flex my hip to drive. I was incapacitated, went to my regular doctor who wrote me a useless prescription for addictive pain meds. Decided to drop in here. One session had me completely mobile. 2 sessions pain free and back to normal. The massages are DEEP so it may "hurt," but I feel it more as years of built up tension, gunk, stress, and unresolved emotion being cleansed and released. I live out of state now, but try to come whenever I travel back to Chicago. Save yourself the typical healthcare system BS and come here for your MSK needs."

"I do not leave negative reviews except in the case of extremely poor customer service. Well, this is the case here. Scheduled a massage appointment as a first time patient. They called two hours before to ask if I could move it 2 hours later, and I agreed, saying I would have a hard stop. Came at the new time and sat in waiting room with no communication for 25 minutes. Moved to a back room where I waited another ten minutes with no communication. No conversation with doctor or therapist. No explanation. First time in my life I walked out of a massage before I even experienced it. First time I experienced this type of disrespect for the customer at a massage place, esp one that provides other services and takes insurance. Do not go here. Many other good local options. Not worth the risk or annoyance."

"I'm shocked at the positive reviews for this place. Writing this to spare others an uncomfortable experience. Yesterday, I went for a 60min massage. I walk in and it's no frills, like others have said, which is fine. I check in at the front desk and it seems like the woman doesn't really know what she's doing, again fine. Then she takes me to the one of the "rooms" which has a curtain door and walls that don't go up to the ceiling, so you can hear everything going on outside the room. The "Chiropractic Doctor" comes in with an airpod in one ear and tells me we'll be doing an adjustment before the massage. I respectfully decline the adjustment. He says okay, the massage therapist will be in shortly. He doesn't give me a name, so here I am naked on a table with a single towel over my back side, not knowing who's about to walk through the door. A guy in street clothes walks in, doesn't introduce himself and gets to the massage. Honestly, I added a star because the massage was decent and DEEP, which I like...but borderline painful. After the 60mins, he says okay all done with not another word and walks out. I never write reviews, but this experience was SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Ladies especially, avoid this place!"

"Came here for a couples massage. Lucky enough to just walk in and get two attendants immediately. The room was clean. Make no mistake. This place is no frills, barebones, just get the job done right! They play music but you can here people in the hallway and other rooms as well. The massage itself was amazing. Really good strength and pressure. My attendant was good at finding all my knots and removing them. Very satisfying. Good quick stop if you need some muscle relief."

"Honestly, this is the best massage place I have ever been to. The massage therapists are incredibly professional and give deep tissue massage which release tight knots and muscles, while also focusing on pressure points to calm the nervous system. The doctor is incredibly kind and caring and has all sorts of tools like accupuncture, adjustments, pressure points, etc. to help calm the nervous system and ease pain. Amy at the front desk makes you feel as welcome as you could possibly want or need. There is always availability and they are flexible. I very highly recommend this place!"

"I am so happy I found this place. My desk job + love of biking + tendency to store stress in my shoulders= a very tense neck & back. I needed the down-to-business, no frills experience this place offers. I left feeling like the masseuse had completely wrung the tension out of me. And she really did basically wring me out--the massage was less about my own relaxation and more about ridding my back of knots by any means necessary. I LOVED it. If you're serious about stopping pain in your back, neck, or shoulders, this is the place to go."

"This location is incredibly amazing and very welcoming. The receptionists are very polite and superb in such helpful and welcoming manners. My massage experience was extremely relaxing and helped reduce the pain I physically felt in my body. It was just all truthfully wonderful."

"I've been coming to the pain stop for 5 years now. I have loved everyone I have gone to. But Recently I have been seeing Taylor every two weeks she specializes in Thai massages. I've been in the salon industry for 16 years so I have many knots and hold a lot of stress in my body. Taylor has hands like a goddess, by the time she is done I feel like a new person. I can NOT go without seeing Taylor every two weeks! It is a must! If I were you I would recommend that you book your appointment today. You won't regret it!"
