"Trinity Rehab Emerson, and particularly Dr. Greg DeMarco restored my lifestyle and my hope. I came to them after leaving Kayal's system. I really disliked Kayal because I was just a number to them. And they told me that basically I needed a surgery ASAP because my meniscus tear was so bad, and that even after the surgery I would eventually need a knee replacement (it's a long story, but that's the gist of it). Greg very meticulously evaluated my situation, ran multiple physical tests and carefully explained that it seemed like my knee wasn't that bad and that with consistency, I would be able to get back to my regular lifestyle. With time, he found out that it was mostly tendon issues rather than meniscus issues what I had. He gave me a personalized program that he monitored almost every session and he adjusted it over time so that after 4-5 months of consistent therapy, I was able to go back to exercise and walk long distances and have a regular life. I was very depressed when I first came in, because I felt like I was going not going to be able to go back to my regular life, but I feel so happy and relieved now after working with them. I now have a gym routine that I do 2-3 days a week and it has kept my leg working just fine. The staff was always great and attentive. And I cannot thank Greg enough, nor recommend him enough. He's so nice, and careful and mindful. This place is such a gem. If you need physical therapy, please pay them a visit. They're the best."
