"I found Dr Torres when my Husband was looking to take kung fu and Thai chi classes in our neighborhood. My husband learned that Dr Torres not only has his kung fu studio but is a doctor of accupunture and Chinese medicine. I was one year into my recent diagnosis for lupus and other than my naturopath (who was hard for me to go out to the suburbs and see in person) I was not getting any relief or solutions from any other doctors. I had the initial consultation with Dr Torres to go over all of my symptoms and blood test results I began seeing him twice a week for accupunture and picking up herbal supplements. "I worked with Dr Torres for about a year, 3-4x/month. At the outset, I was looking for help with issues related to general and preventative health concerns, minor aches and pains, and issues related to a high-stress life as a student and professional. "I was referred to Dr. Torres by a lifelong friend of mine, I had just been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer and had my Colon resection surgery. I started chemotherapy treatment with my Hospital and Acupuncture at Seven Star Wellness at the same time. It has been 13 months, and 28 Chemo sessions since than. I started at 1 chemo session every 2 weeks and have now been moved to every 3 weeks. O have had no major side effects to chemo. Only side effect so far is acne on my face.
