"I want to sincerely thank Elmhurst Hospital--all the surgeons, doctors, nurses, and every team member of this incredible institution. On May 19th, 2024, you saved my husband's life. He went through four cranial surgeries, and thanks to your expertise and dedication, today he is recovering, feeling better, and preparing to return to everyday life. It took me a year and a half to write this review, because I didn't know how his story would unfold. Now, with hope and gratitude, I can finally say thank you. A special thanks to Dr. Zachary Hickman, Dr. Rappaport, Dr. Carr, and the entire surgical team. Our deepest gratitude to Valeriya Bokova, who became our guardian angel throughout these 1.5 years, supporting both me and my husband with care and compassion. We are also grateful to the emergency team who brought us safely to Elmhurst, the reception staff, the surgery and ICU teams, the aftercare and rehab staff, and truly everyone who helped us on this difficult journey. During that time, every nurse and doctor I met was so kind, patient, and caring. They made a difficult time so much easier and really treated me with warmth and respect. Elmhurst Hospital is definitely a good hospital -- the staff truly care about their patients and go above and beyond to help. A special thank you to Nurse Karma, who helped me on my last day. I went back to look for her because I had some questions about my prescription, and she kindly helped me out with patience and understanding.
