Testimonials
"Sports PT Lab is an amazing place for physical therapy, especially if you're an active person. I've personally worked with Kristin this year to address some stubborn knots (trigger points) in my back that would not go away even after over a year of yoga/stretching on my own. Her dry needling and mobilization techniques proved incredibly effective in helping me mitigate the pain and gain mobility back so I could swim, bike, and run more efficiently and pain free. Additionally she was able to correct my run form and help me through shin splint issues through form correction and exercises. With her expertise in this field, background in triathlon, hyrox, and other sports, she is able to meet you where you're at, understand the cause of the issues, and help you through them to achieve your goals"
"Micaela is the best! She helped me recover from meniscus surgery and got me back to working out and running. I've continued seeing her to improve my posture, and the difference in my neck pain has been life-changing. She looks at the body as a whole, not just one area, and every session feels intentional. Micaela genuinely cares about helping you reach your goals. Highly recommend!"
"As a recently retired military member, I definitely have many issues, current and old. However, linking up with Dr. Micaela has really set my mind and body at ease. I no longer have any worries about my mobility in my next phase of life. She provides excellent care and recommendations for me to be proactive in my recovery efforts with my calf, neck, and lower back. She is a fantastic addition to the already stellar team. If there were more stars to give, I would."
"I had been dealing with shoulder pain for almost a year and thought I would eventually need surgery from what military doctors told me. My GF recommended this place and praised Dr. Thompson in helping her. Long story short not only did Dr. Thompson help me get movement back, but it's the best I've felt in last two years. Highly recommend!"
"Kristin and her team are amazing. As a result of an osteoporosis diagnosis, I started lifting heavy weights. An old rotator cuff injury prevented me from progressing. I found Kristin, and with her expertise in PT and weight training (and running!), she was able to get me on the road to healing. As my strength improved, she also made sure I was strengthening all the surrounding muscles and checked my form, preventing future injuries! I much prefer seeing her proactively so I can continue moving properly, instead of finding myself sidelined by an injury that was preventable. 100% recommend"
"I have chronic injuries and have seen several different physical therapists throughout the past 15 years. Kristin/Sports Lab PT has been by far the best physical therapist I have ever seen. Kristin is incredibly knowledgeable and has given me very helpful information about my own body that I didn't previously know. I appreciate that at her practice the PT spends the full appointment with the patient instead of utilizing physical therapy assistants. She is worth every penny."
"As an athlete, I hold my care team to the highest standards, and Kristin and her team consistently exceed them. They are exceptionally knowledgeable and genuinely compassionate. After just a few visits, the years-long pain in my shoulder disappeared, and my overall mobility improved significantly. I feel fortunate to have found them and highly recommend their services to friends and family."
"Kristen is a wizard--she is so good at what she does. She offered really helpful modifications that allowed me to continue working out without aggravating anything. She's also done form checks of several exercises that have improved my lifts. This is all in addition to giving me exercises that all but cured the hip pain I originally saw her for. Finally, she is incredible at follow up--after basically every appointment, I get an email with the list of exercises to do at home (sometimes accompanied by demonstrative videos) and she's "prescribed" warm up exercises to do before my workouts. Finding a great PT makes all the difference in the world, and I'd recommend Kristen ten times over to anyone."
