Testimonials

"Athletico Schaumburg is awesome! Unfortunately this about my 10th time with different Therapists, who are all excellent! Hard to choose! Currently I'm with Alexa who is helping me recover from my 4th Spinal Surgery. Previously Lumbar, now Cervical...Alexa is so great at getting me moving again & really cares about my personal feelings as we go along. Keeping it positive here with all the Staff support! Thank you Athletico Schaumburg!!! Kathryn "

"The staff at this Athletico are very caring and thorough with treatment plans. Very professional, and will work with you not only targeting areas that are rehabbing but also incorporating other body mechanics to enhance recovery. I have worked with Dan and Jake at this facility, both highly competent therapists. Other staff, Lindsey, Rhana, and the miriad assistants are all very friendly as well. The receptionists are also professional, scheduling and keeping track of number of visits with insurance companies, etc."

"I was referred to Alex DeVries by my Orthopedic. I feel very fortunate that have had the chance to be under Alex' care. She is caring, passionate and personable. Its been quite the ride, and Alex has been outstanding, The Athletico office in Schaumburg is a friendly and caring location. You can tell everyone enjoys their job. If you need to have Ultrasound done, be sure to have Hana work on you!"

"Huge progress and every therapy session a great experience. Had CMC Arthoplasty with one of the best surgeons you could have. My surgery had challenges so my 3 month run of therapy became 5 months The end result from Therapist Alexandra DeVries and the whole support team has been great. They make you feel very comfortable. They study your situation in depth and really give you the best possible outcome if you do the work . A+ help and organization !"

"Tammy T. at Athletico is hands down the only therapist I know who combines expert rehab skills with elite-level groundhog energy. Every morning she emerges from her office, coffee in hand, slowly pokes her head out into the clinic like she's about to predict six more weeks of therapy... or early discharge. It's giving strong Woodstock Willie vibes -- with a little Punxsutawney Phil confidence mixed in. She takes her coffee very seriously (I suspect the treatment plan is directly correlated to roast strength), but once she's properly caffeinated, you're in the best hands. Professional, knowledgeable, and somehow able to make exercises that feel like medieval torture actually work. If she sees her shadow, expect extra reps. If she doesn't, you might get out early. Either way, you'll leave feeling better -- eventually. Highly recommend... especially before she retreats back into her burrow."

"I highly recommend Athletico Schaumburg North. I went there due to a knee replacement with complications. The desk staff is friendly and detailed orientated. The aides are helpful in assisting with many tasks. I started with therapist Kristen who was excellent in understanding my needs and helped get me started on my goals. I then continued with Tammy who is awesome. She encourages me to never give up, to go beyond what I think I can do. I wouldn't be as far as I am without her. All the therapists are able to support you and each other. I feel it's like a family. They have your best interest at heart, and don't mind when I laugh (sometimes loudly) through the pain."

"Excellent care with Julia for wrist recovery after surgical repair. Julia was compassionate and concerned when I was having difficulty in therapy. She modified exercises until I could be seen by surgeon who diagnosed me with a rotator cuff injury from the fall. The physical therapist caught this before surgeon! Big thanks to crew and specifically Julia who is a savior! So personable and cheerful! Rama continued my therapy with shoulder after the diagnosis and has been caring and attentive during our sessions. Rama also recommended a surgeon who would be able to repair the injury. The surgeon Rama recommended was very thorough so I switched my care to him after the consult. So grateful for Rama's help. The next round of therapy after this surgical repair will definitely be with Athletico! And with Rama! They not only give excellent therapy but also truly care about the person as a whole. They are not just for therapeutic recovery but for the person including the psychological components the patient experiences. For myself, this was more important than the therapy itself. I ended up losing my job because of this injury and they were there for every step. Shout out to Janai who kept me company while doing some exercises and was supportive in my recovery."
