Testimonials

Judy Yoon

"I really appreciate Dr Anthony Avery and his experience and professionalism. He did an excellent job explaining things to me regarding my right frozen shoulder which has been quite painful for over year. He provided instant relief with the injection and his encouraging words. He took the time to listen and doesn't make your appointment feel rushed. Highly recommend!"

" Dr. Anthony Avery is the most extraordinary, compassionate, and selfless doctor I have ever known. In May 2023 a heavy cabinet fell on me at work, crushing my head and body (captured on the clinic's security cameras). I suffered a traumatic brain injury (constant headaches, memory loss, nightmares, no sleep, depression, cognitive fog) and destroyed both knees and my left shoulder. A previous surgeon had already left me with no ACL after four failed surgeries and then dismissed my new injuries entirely. Dr. Avery's father saw the accident footage, immediately shared it with Dr. Anthony Avery, and everything changed. When his father retired, I chose Dr. Avery -- the single best decision I've ever made. He performed successful meniscus surgery on my right knee and is fighting for total left-knee replacement and shoulder treatment. As a Workers' Compensation patient, every scan, injection, and visit requires approvals that take months to years. Dr. Avery has written dozens of detailed letters -- many on his weekends and days off -- begging them to stop making me wait in agony. Just this week (November 2025), while I'm still waiting years into this nightmare for bilateral knee injections, I asked for help again. The very next day he wrote another urgent letter to Medicaid. I cried from gratitude. He sees all of me -- the broken body, the broken mind, the endless pain -- and treats me with kindness, patience, true empathy, and perfect humor when I need it most. Dr. Anthony Avery restored my faith in medicine. He is brilliant, tireless, and genuinely cares like no other. I am only still here because of him."

"The doctor and staffs are nice. The wait time is ok. However, we were pretty disappointed with how my 6-year-old son's appointment was handled by the technician. First, the cast was put on in the wrong position and had to be taken off immediately to be redone. The technician promised the blade wouldn't touch my son's skin because of the guard, but as soon as he started cutting, my son yelled out in pain. Instead of stopping to check, the technician just said it was "impossible" because the ruler was there. Once the cast came off, we saw that his hand actually had been cut. I know it wasn't intentional, but when you're working with power tools on a small child, you have to be incredibly careful. It was also upsetting that my son's pain was dismissed when he was clearly hurt. I'm sharing this because I don't want this to happen to another child. I hope you can look into this and make sure the staff is more careful and more responsive to a patient's pain in the future."

"Dr. Avery presented me with my options for relief of my pain and discomfort. He also offered warnings about electing surgery too soon and being prepared to put in the time and the work for recovery after the surgery. I feel well informed and able to make a decision."

"Dr. Anthony is the best Ortho doctor! I had severe pain in my right hand and bad pain in both of my shoulders, and I was so worried. Dr. Anthony listened carefully to all my concerns and explained everything clearly. He also helped me feel better mentally. He is an awesome doctor, and I highly recommend him to everyone! The staff, and front desk team are unbelievable."

"Dr. Anthony Avery was always patient with me, explained the process and timeline in detail, and has been encouraging as I reached milestones. I am back to swimming well, working on recovering my volleyball game, and am without pain six months in."

Kevin Perry

"This is the best place for surgery. Everyone was supportive and caring. Dr.Avery and his team was amazing. The entire process was quick and smooth. The team was very helpful and ensured my health and safety was a priority. I would recommend this place 10x. Also, Dr.Avery personality is the best. He was patient and explained all the details in advance. I am thankful that I found him and his team to complete my Achilles repair."
