Testimonials
"My experience with Sheri at District Performance & Physio has been top notch. I had been dealing with achilles tendinopathy for 6 plus months with no success before deciding to see a PT. Immediately, Sheri wanted to get to know about me and my running goals first and foremost and tuned my exercise plan for my race schedule and current life style. She is extremely personable and knowledgeable. Sheri is able to answer any question I ask, no matter how vague, with an articulate and helpful answer. After just a few months, my pain is down to almost nothing. The during-session dry needling helps a ton, and the plan was extremely effective at strengthening my calf and tendon. I strongly recommend District Performance & Physio for anyone who wants a very personalized approach to injury recovery!"
"I've been receiving physical therapy/dry needling here on and off for 1.5 years, and most recently every other week treatment for about 6 months. I have nothing but the best to report. I've worked with Brian and Ashlee and both are well worth your time and money. My knee and hip hurt from weightlifting/running and parenting... I always feel better after a session. They have helped alleviate pain and they listen to my ideas and concerns without being dismissive. District physio has been an exceptional partner in creating consistent fitness and pain free movement. Highest recommendation!"
"I had an amazing experience working with Ashlee at District Performance & Physio. I came in dealing with pain and ongoing soreness, and even though we were only able to do two sessions before I moved to NYC, she made a huge impact. Ashlee was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive--she really took the time to understand what I was experiencing and explain what was going on in a way that made sense. I left each session feeling better, more confident, and with clear guidance on how to keep improving on my own. She's wonderful to work with and truly cares about her patients. I couldn't recommend Ashlee more and wish I could have continued seeing her longer!!"
"I came to district performance to help with my neck pain from my 3rd concussion. I also had lasting knee pain from a previous running injury. The process to get in was very smooth and they really take the time to understand you in order to match you up with the right PT. Ashlee has been incredible!! She has drastically reduced my neck and knee pain to the point where I am able to workout again and get back to my HIIT workouts and lifting. She has taken many different approaches and has always adjusted my care for how I'm feeling that day or what we think would be best going forward. Would recommend district performance to anyone!"
"Worked with Brian on some weakness in my glutes & hip flexors to run pain-free. He was professional and empathetic in his approach and I truly felt cared for. He adjusted our program every time I came in based on how I was feeling/what I wanted to work on. He gave great, realistic at-home exercises that I was able to follow on our non-appt days. I only had to stop coming to this office because I moved overseas. Very grateful for Brian & team in helping me run stronger and pain-free. :)"
"So before physical therapy, I started having knee pain when squatting / lunging that eventually forced me to stop altogether. A sports medicine doctor told me I had cartilage issues and recommended I stop heavy squatting forever and to start PT. The insurance-based clinic I tried felt very cookie-cutter and didn't focus on getting me back to training. I ended up finding District Performance & Physio and working with Sheri, and over ~3 months we figured out what was really going on with my knee, fixed my form issues, and built my strength back up. Now I can lunge / squat nearly pain-free and begin running again. Sheri and the DPP team are great, easy to reach, and really focused on getting you back into the gym safely. Definitely worth it, thanks Sheri!!!"
"Highly recommend District Performance & Physio. Brian was my PT throughout my training for the NYC marathon and made sure I made it to the starting line healthy, injury free, and stronger. He provided targeted strength training regimes that paired well with my running schedule, as well as did dry needling for my injuries that were really effective (I was shocked). After each dry needling session, I would be pain free within 24-48 hours. It really helped tone down my tendonitis and increase my recovery time between hard workouts. Brian is a professional, thoughtful, and genuine PT who listens to your concerns, is responsive, and is able to adapt / be flexible when needed. I liked District Performance bc they paired a treatment session with a PT strength plan vs one or the other. It is also a small office, in which I could always reach the team and was able to easily get appointments when needed. I selected the 10 pack and was reimbursed for most of the session by my insurance. Office space was clean, accessible and pleasant. After completing my PT sessions with Brian, I ran a 16 min personal best at my marathon."
"Ashlee is the best vestibular PT ever! I've had 3 episodes of BPPV over the past 5 years; this last one knocked me out for weeks. I couldn't look at a screen (and therefore couldn't work), could barely make it down the stairs (looking down made things worse) - just awful. Thanks to Ashlee, I'm back to form. She is incredibly knowledgeable but explains things clearly to lay people like me (and patient when I keep mixing up which canal is affected). She works tenaciously to figure out exactly what is going on and creatively to figure out what might help. She's also really fun. If you're struggling with BPPV, Ashlee can help you."
