So, after driving by Lotus Affordable Acupuncture one day, my curiosity got the best of me and I called the clinic. My initial conversation with Kelly was inspiring and I decided I had very little to lose and everything to gain! Kelly made me feel so comfortable during my initial appointment. She took the time to listen and assess all of my concerns. She carefully explained what she can and cannot do and also emphasized that acupuncture should not replace one's traditional medical care. Even so, she was very open to trying to meet any challenge I threw at her. During the initial and subsequent treatments in the community room, I discovered that I was able to relax quite easily. Even with other people in the room, I forgot about my surroundings and was able to focus on myself. Kelly truly created a comfortable environment with soft music, minimal lighting, heat lamps, blankets, pillows, anti-gravity chairs, etc. As Kelly took me through each journey, she was not only kind and gentle, but she also utilized her great sense of humor! Furthermore, Kelly's actual technique added to the overall experience! She skillfully placed each needle with such grace that I did not even feel the needle go in! Once all the needles were placed, I was easily able to fall asleep without a worry in the world. At the end of my treatment, I woke up refreshed and energized! Needless to say (pun intended), the quality of my life has improved thanks to Kelly and her work at Lotus Affordable Acupuncture! My short term issues were easily resolved within a few treatments, but I keep coming back because I use the treatments as my outlet for stress relief and relaxation. "Where do I start when giving my experience with Kelly?? I think I'd like to start by saying that I have never met anyone quite like her. She is, by far, a true healer. She cares deeply for others and will do whatever it takes to treat their condition. I am seeing Kelly because I have been diagnosed with a high FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), and am going to try to get pregnant soon. The doctors have said that it may be difficult for me to get pregnant because the FSH is high. Kelly truly wants me to succeed in getting pregnant just as much as I do! During the sessions, she takes her time (I never feel rushed) and needles several points. She also incorporates electric stimulation with points on my back. She has sent me numerous articles on supplements to take before the procedure, foods to avoid and foods to include in my diet (including Organic Beef Bone Broth; I highly recommend), and several other helpful tips to prepare me for the procedure. Kelly is also very gentle and kind. She has such an authentic spirit; such a way about her. I just adore this woman! I feel blessed to have met her and have had the privilege of being treated by her. Lastly, I'll mention that her pricing is also much better than others I have found. I do not have insurance, so paying out of pocket for every session can add up. Kelly has made it possible for me to visit her every week, 1-2 times per week. She is simply the best and, if you have had the luck to come across her practice, congratulations and let the healing begin!! Update as of 9/17/15- I am now pregnant with my first IVF attempt! Kelly is amazing and I will forever be grateful to her for her exemplary service and care. Update as of 7/18/16- I delivered a healthy baby girl who is now 7 weeks old today! I went past my due date and was scheduled for an induction at the hospital, but never had to be induced. I visited Kelly a few times to get things going and BAM, I went into labor 3 days before the scheduled induction. Kelly, I love you and will be forever grateful to YOU!!"
