"I have been treated by Dr Lina Hu for over a year now. What brought me to her was frustration over bulging discs in my neck. After my first MRI I was told I would have to have a plate and screws surgically implanted in my neck to help with the debilitating neck pain I was suffering. I thought there had to be another way so I tried physical therapy which always just seemed to be a temporary fix. I then tried steroid injections OUCH! I did it twice... never again. I then went to what I thought was my last resort ... pain management... not big on taking those types of drugs mainly due to all the terrible side effects... so I filled the prescription I was given, but could only take a couple before I began feeling those terrible side effects. I was extremely discouraged and still in the same debilitating pain I had been in all along. I can't say exactly how I came up with the idea to try acupuncture, but I am so happy I did it!!!! I have been impressed with Dr Hu from the first moment I spoke to her. When I called to schedule an appointment, she took all my insurance information and got back to me promptly to discuss my benefits. I made an appointment and was taken in very quickly. She explain thoroughly what was going to take place, and very honestly said, I needed to be patient because it would probably take several visits to experience results, but she did assure me she could help. That is exactly what happened. I have to say honestly I have not had pain in my neck for over a year now. I really don't even think about it. I have treatments that include acupuncture, electric stimulation, and cupping. I know all of that might sound a little scary, but it's really not and she gave me back a quality of life I thought was lost. I now go back to her weekly. I have had other smaller issues over that time and she has been able to help with them as well. She is so knowledgeable, professional, kind and caring.... and provides such a relaxing atmosphere I now call it my "me" time each week. I take that one plus hour every week to just truly relax, which is something many of us don't take the time to do.... but trust me, it is totally worth it!!!
