"After a surgery that left me off my feet for weeks, getting back to normal turned out to be much harder than expected. When I finally started walking again, I was compensating for the pain and ended up walking unevenly, which created a domino effect throughout my body. Before long I was dealing with pain in my hip, IT band, and even my elbow. At first, I tried a chiropractor closer to home, but the experience wasn't great. It felt like every patient was receiving the same routine treatment, without much attention to individual needs. Since it was a one-person practice, it also wasn't very efficient. "The VA sent me here. Nice staff but the treatment plan felt lazy. I had a female chiropractor who was nice. I never felt much relief though and actually felt more aggravation in my neck after some attempted adjustments. I also tried dry needling from another one of their providers but that also just aggravated my condition. In the past I've always had good results from chiropractors and dry needling. I chose to switch to a different place and I hope it will work out better for me."
