Testimonials
"I was experiencing pelvic floor symptoms as a result of intense triathlon training, so my primary care doctor referred me to The Pelvic Institute. I was nervous for my first appointment, due to being a male patient in this specialty. During the first few minutes of my visit, however, Dr. Hannah Lattanzio put me at ease. She listened to my symptoms, performed an assessment, and put together a treatment plan for physical therapy. I have seen a fantastic improvement in the past few months and all the while was very comfortable with the staff, space, and privacy. I highly recommend The Pelvic Institute!"
"I had such an amazing experience at The Pelvic Institute! The office feels so safe and inviting and the whole experience felt very patient centric. Staff there puts you at ease and you can actively see them working together to create a really welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. There is so much stigma and lack of education around women's health, sexual health, and pelvic floor health in general. You can tell that the team at The Pelvic Institute make intentional efforts to eliminate stigma in order to get you the best care possible. Love that they also promote accessibility and inclusivity and are queer and women owned! So grateful for finding TPI and the community they are creating."
"I am so grateful for the Pelvic Institute! I was terrified to give birth and began going to the Pelvic Institute in my second trimester. As soon as I started, I instantly felt more relaxed. Not only did my PT prepare me for birth both physically and mentally, she helped me so much with my pregnancy aches and pains. She helped me stay active up until the week I gave birth. I also struggled with horrible migraines throughout part of my pregnancy and I was able to get support for that, as well, at the Pelvic Institute! I had a beautiful birthing experience and a quick recovery and I owe it to the Pelvic institute! Thank you!!"
"TLDR; Dr. Madi is the Sherlock Holmes of PT! This is gonna be a long, thorough review. I'm 35 and have had lower back pain for 10+years. Despite my best research efforts and application, I was at the end of my rope. The SI joint pain, sciatica nerve zaps down my leg and pain while sitting/standing/laying flat on my back was so demoralizing. My movements were so guarded in anticipation of pain spikes. The only place I felt relief was lying down in the 90/90 position. My confidence in my mobility was the lowest it had ever been and I was pretty positive I would never get better. Enter The Pelvic Institute and Dr. Madi! Within 3-5 visits I was already seeing a HUGE difference in my pain. It was a lot quieter than it had been in years. I trusted her suggestions with dry needling (which I had never done before but STRONGLY recommend) and slow introduction to weighted movement. I'm very happy to say that now, on week 6 of 8 scheduled weeks, we've both seen a noticeable improvement in my mobility. I have more work to do but I have every ounce of faith in her ability to guide me through it. Dr. Madi believed in my ability to do hard things when I did not believe in my ability to do hard things. She advocates for her patients in a way that is very rare these days and I appreciate her more than she knows. I feel incredibly blessed to have found Dr. Madi and The Pelvic Institute. 10/10 no notes. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Obvi would recommend to ANYONE that has had back pain. PS: I will also be doubling down for pelvic floor PT with Dr. Madi when the time comes."
"The physical therapists and occupational therapists at The Pelvic Institute are the absolute best in Chicago! Everyone here provides the highest quality one-on-one care. The folks working with Amanda are extremely knowledgeable and caring. All of the therapists are so dedicated to education and patient care. They have an unmatched ability to meet her patients where they are at and help them achieve their goals! Your journey at TPI doesn't end with PT, there are classes too! I love Pilates for Pelvic Health and Mat Pilates with Em! I highly recommend taking one of these classes! If you're navigation pelvic floor issues, back pain or looking to up your performance game, this is the spot! Thanks Dr. Neri for all the pelvic floor work!"
"I have worked with 4 pelvic floor therapists across 3 practices and I can confidently say that The Pelvic Institute and specifically Dr. Phebe Philip provide the best care in Chicago. I worked with Phebe throughout my third trimester for managing my pelvic floor symptoms, functionally preparing for labor and delivery, and post delivery in my recovery. She was phenomenal every step of the way - interpretting my concerns and translating them into care that left me supported and confident. The work we did together led to an empowered delivery and recovery that would not have been the same without her. I am already looking forward to the prospect of a second pregnancy and working with Phebe again - she's that good! It helps that she's awesome to talk to and made each session fun. The Pelvic Institute facilities are wonderful and it is clear the entire staff is passionate about the work that they do - it seems you can't go wrong with any of the providers. Thank you Phebe and the entire Pelvic Institute team!"
"I have been going to the pelvic institute for about 2 months now to prepare for birth. I see Dr Madi and have had such a wonderful experience! She is very knowledgeable, adaptable, and kind. Everything you want in a provider! I am confident that I am receiving the best care, and I learn something new every time I see Madi. Additionally, the clinic is very clean and the environment is warm and welcoming starting from when you walk in and are greeted by the reception staff. I cannot recommend Madi and the pelvic institute enough."
"A couple of friends recommended The Pelvic Institute to me, particularly Dr. Hannah Meyer and I'm so grateful they did! Dr. Hannah Meyer helped me prepare for an unmedicated homebirth, which went so smoothly (no tearing or pelvic floor issues whatsoever) thanks to the work we did together. Her expertise immediately put me at ease because I knew I was in good and capable hands. She helped me prepare both physically and mentally, while making the process enjoyable and fun. The whole office is so supportive with helping me get last-minute appointments and with pesky insurance mishaps. I can't thank Dr. Hannah Meyer enough for being in my corner for my first pregnancy and being such a positive part of my journey. It was a blast bringing in my baby post-partum to be a part of my workouts too. Don't hesitate, this place is incredible!"
