Testimonials

"I was so happy to be matched with Whitney as my physical therapist. She is such a boss and furthermore provided compassionate and comprehensive care. She also recommended dry needling, which was a game changer for me. My dry needling specialist, Tony, was always quick and effective. The combination of physical therapy and especially dry needling resolved an issue I had been experiencing for years. I highly recommend them."

"I had a knee replacement in the fall last year and it was a great organized, experience between the office, Dr. Goral, and Holy Cross. I have been coming to the office for 10years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!"

"The best of the best. From the support staff, PAs, interns and my doctors: Drs. Alam, Hinkes, Solomon, Schneider. We live in a terrific area for some of the most reknown medical professionals. And some not so. Earlier, after trying out other practices with little success, I asked my physical therapist (not associated with the PT crew on next floor) where he would go for various orthopedic ailments, he, having seen the end results of his patients' treatments. Without hesitation he recommended Montgomery CAO, as I do as well."

"The billing department is a nightmare. You cannot speak with a live person even though the Chevy Chase Billing Supervisor provided me with her business card and direct line. She does not return calls. I've had numerous billing issues that go unresolved. Terrible customer service. They're fine taking your money but cannot be bothered to call you back."

"The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics: I recently completed a course of physical therapy for IT band syndrome receiving care from June 4 through July 3, 2025. My therapists were Tony Madison and Rachelle Amador and I cannot speak highly enough of their dedication and expertise. In the past, I've had a tendency to discontinue physical therapy after only one or two visits. However, I was determined to see this through, and with the incredible support and encouragement from Tony and Rachelle, I did just that. My sessions, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, involved a series of stretches and exercises designed to loosen my tight muscles. As someone who isn't naturally inclined toward exercise, this was a significant commitment for me. There were moments, particularly when Rachel applied deep pressure to my muscles, that were excruciatingly painful. Yet, I understood that this discomfort was a crucial part of my healing process, not a detriment. Both Tony and Rachelle consistently encouraged me to "stay the course" and their unwavering support made all the difference. I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to the various assistants who worked with me. They would arrive with a clear list of exercise exercises: 10 reps here, 20 there, guiding me through each step. Their professionalism and helpfulness greatly contributed to my positive experience. Throughout my time at the clinic, I always felt genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was consistently supportive and encouraging. I now feel like I've graduated from therapy, and I understand that the responsibility is now mine to continue the work they've taught me to prevent a recurrence. I am incredibly grateful to Tony Madison, Rachelle Amador, and the entire team for their exceptional care, guidance, and for helping me achieve my therapy goals. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy."

"This was a wholly unsatisfactory visit. Dr. Alam seems completely bored by his job as a doctor. I felt rushed as he didn't want to take the time to explain what he was concluding from my x-ray and hasty exam. When he recommended physical therapy and I told him my experience has been that PT is no more effective than just letting things heal on their own, he was not able to give me any evidence from comparative clinical trials that PT for my issue is beneficial. He said it depends on whether I get a good therapist. But when it came time to recommend one, he just told me there are several in Hyattsville and Bethesda to choose from -- without giving me any specific addresses, much less identifying one he thought was especially good. Overall, he seemed completely uninterested in me, and I feel bad for the student who was following him around considering a similar career."

"This practice runs like a well-oiled machine. Underwent surgery with Dr. J Keeling and every aspect (surgery + follow-ups) ran so smoothly. The entire staff -- front desk, X-ray, medical assistants -- were always friendly and efficient."

"Dr. Solomon and his crew were amazing each time I visited. They are very polite and timely. Dr. Solomon, 9 times out of 10, was waiting for me to come to the back for my appointment. Very quick, very polite, very open to my concerns. I just wish they were closer to my area; but after the long travel they made me feel so much better. Thank you to the nurses that escorted me back and the X-ray tech who was very comforting and to the front desk people who were very inviting and helpful."
