""Wellness" Center, yeah right. I came here to be tested for strep and no one was there besides the receptionist, who asked me why I didn't want a covid test instead. The receptionist kept offering me times for appointments when I had class. I told her that and she said she would give me a note for class, but I did not want to miss important classes that are easy to fail. I ended up not getting seen or making an appointment because the only times available were bad. I do not understand why walk-ins are not accepted, especially when the place was completely empty. It is easier to see your own physician than a doctor at Iona's Wellness Center. Also, just a side note, if the hours are 8:30 to 5 pm, the doors should not be locked all day. The place is also closed on Sundays, so I guess that means people do not get sick on Sundays either."
"They are the worst. They are no help. They tested me for Mono when I had the flu and told them I had no exposure to to Mono. They wanted ME to plug the tube to test blood into the needle once they got it in my arm. Luckily we never got that far because they missed three times and so I left. They are never open. I had strep my freshman year and they told me it was just a cold. They send people to the hospital for no reason and refuse to write scripts when they are necessary. I have had a double ear infection before and they told me to take dayquil. Skip this and just go to urgent care. This is the one thing about Iona I don't love."
"This place is limited to Iona College students only. The staff are always friendly and willing to help their students."
