"Dr. Raj has done both of my hips with in one year. He is extremely sensitive to his patients and their needs. Also explains what he's going to do and why he's doing it that way. I did not realize how much of Life I had been missing out on because I had so much pain constantly and could not walk very far. He gave me a new life as I now am. Walking everywhere and no pain whatsoever. Thank you to his staff and the office and in the hospital. I recommend him to everyone that I know that needs hips or knees. Again, thank you Dr. Raj."

"The one star is for Dr. Raj, who seems competent, from my brief experience with him, and pleasant. However, his office staff needs replacing. I was to have gel shots in my knee. Dr. Raj prescribed them several weeks ago. After waiting a month for insurance authorization to be received, I began calling the office a couple times per week where a receptionist constantly informed me that she is only checking authorizations once a week because "It's not really my job, it is extra work in addition to phone answering." That is not my problem. I finally called the doctor number for my insurance myself on Wed 4/15 where I was told the authorization has been made long ago. Nobody ever checked from Upper Chesapeake Ortho at all! I then re-called this receptionist and gave her that news. She didn't apologize and just said "I won't have time to check on that for 2 more days, anyway. I'm too busy." So I asked her to make an exception, as I now have to use a cane, which isn't usual for me, due to knee pain being severe. She said "Sure" in a sarcastic tone. Then I called back today, 4/17, and she still said she didn't have time, so I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said she didn't have one. When pressed, she said it was a woman named Sharon. I asked to speak to Sharon and the receptionist hung up on me. I called back and she wouldn't answer the phone, left a message for Dr. Raj, then called the patient advocate number. No answer there, either, so left a message. I await a call back."

"I had some trouble finding it! Lol the signage isnt very good in there. Livesey was great. They were able to get me in for a new patient appointment pretty immediately. No wait time in the office. Great experience. They also did the x-rays immediately in the office. Which a lot of places send you somewhere for xrays They take maryland physicians care"

"The entire team of Dr.Raji was and has been friendly, professional and caring. No question asked was to small to answer. What would make it 5 if they were in the Aberdeen location more often."

Was awaiting a call back after leaving a detailed message as a new patient, but now seeing the rating and complaints about the receptionist, I guess i won't hold my breath and find somewhere else to go instead. Often times these medical places assume you need them, but really, without patients, you don't do to well. If you're calling, don't bother leaving a message!"

"I asked to get a letter for my transportation service. The reception said I could not get it. I asked to see the doctor. The doctor did not even offer me to take a x ray to see my ankle. Since my doctor Zell is no longer in the practice due to retirement. I felt not welcome anymore. First time I felt this way. The doctor should have said we are discharge you but if you have any discomfort or problems you can always set an appointment."
