Lindsey

"Ariel has been a godsend. She is compassionate, kind, extremely knowledgeable and takes her time to facilitate care. 10/10 PT. Love working with her!"

Angelica Torres-Reid

"We loved our experience with Ariel. She is punctual, professional, and customer focused. She helped my daughter recover from a hamstring injury. She took the time to explain the treatment and recovery process to my daughter. Ariel also provided dynamic videos which were easy to follow. Ariel is very knowledgeable and cares about her patients. Leslie is helping my daughter with getting her strength back. We have seen results in a month."

"Working with Dr. Ariel was the best investment I made in myself during my pregnancy and postpartum journey! I scheduled an appointment with the hopes of staying active, safely, during my pregnancy but what I gained from working with Dr. Ariel was so much more than that! She took a holistic approach to our sessions by regularly checking in and offering advice on my diet, exercise, and mental health. My experience with my OB/GYN during pregnancy was very reactive - if I had a question, they would answer it but they wouldn't go into any detail about what to expect next. My experience with Dr. Ariel was the opposite - her approach is extremely proactive. She would spend time during our sessions describing things that I may experience next so that I was prepared. Also, my OB/GYN would tell me my discomfort during pregnancy was "'common" and I just needed to wait until I delivered to feel better - so frustrating! Dr. Ariel always took my discomfort seriously and aided in making a plan for movement/supplements to help. I was diagnosed with chronic hypertension during pregnancy and was left with more questions than answers from my OB/GYN. Dr. Ariel taught me how to properly take and record my blood pressure and reviewed my pressures at every appointment to ensure it was staying under control. I have no doubt that her guidance helped me flag to my doctors when my blood pressure got to a concerning level (eventually leading to preeclampsia). Lastly, her support postpartum meant the world to me. Even though she had a baby herself the week before, she took time to check in on me and ensure I was taking appropriate comfort measures after my C-section. She helped me return to exercise safely and at 7 months postpartum, I am not experiencing any pelvic floor issues. I truly cannot say enough good things about working with Dr. Ariel. If you are on the fence about booking a session - just do it!! Not only is she extremely good at what she does, she is one of the kindest and most caring humans I've ever met. Thank you, Dr. Ariel!!"

"Dr. Ariel has been nothing but amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable about pelvic floor but also how it relates to our body as a whole and how being hypermobile can impact this as well. She does an amazing job of ensuring that the exercises she provides me with are functional, practical and meaningful for me and my lifestyle. I highly highly recommend her!"

"Dr. Ariel has been amazing, helping me with a variety of issues, from pelvic floor therapy to tendonitis. I know I can always rely on her to provide practical exercises and have a robust conversation about the science behind the problem. She also incorporates her extensive yoga and athletic knowledge in order to help me achieve my goals. I have made tremendous progress working with her and have recommended her to my mom and anyone else who wants a convenient and meaningful PT experience. Dr. Ariel is a one-of-a-kind professional!"

"Ariel at Rooted Physio & Performance is amazing! I severely sprained my ankle during a half-ironman triathlon event in the summer, so I scheduled appointments with Ariel to take care of the ankle problem. Scheduling appointments was extremely easy, and Ariel makes house calls(!) Can't get any more convenient than that! We focused on not just on getting the ankle back to 'normal', but also on getting the ankle stronger, along with and related muscles large and small, so that this wouldn't happen again. Three months later, I was able to do an Olympic triathlon, and three weeks after that, I was able to complete a half-ironman triathlon with a time 44 minutes faster than my previous one on that course. In both events, I finished first in my age group. (Not bad for someone who's turning 70 next year!) I'm now currently doing an off-season maintenance/performance pt routine designed to get me ready for next season better than ever. Again, Ariel is amazing! I would give her six stars if I could."

"I had a great experience working with Dr. Ariel Ross as a new mom experiencing postpartum pelvic pain. She was super easy to schedule with (especially with limited time caring for an infant) and I felt much more comfortable being in my own home for treatment. Highly recommend!"

"I learned about the importance of pelvic floor health while pregnant with my first daughter, and I'm so thankful I contacted Rooted Physio and Performance and had a consultation with Ariel for physical therapy. I could tell right away that she was the PT I was looking for - Ariel is super sharp and knowledgeable, personable with a positive attitude, and just great to be around! My objectives were to prepare my body for an unmedicated home labor, resolve pelvic girdle pain, maintain a healthy sexual life throughout pregnancy and postpartum, and keep my body strong into postpartum so I could return to more challenging exercise as soon as possible. I started working with Ariel eight weeks before my due date, and though I wish I had found her sooner, I was able to achieve my goals with birth and into postpartum. Twelve weeks after giving birth, I was thrilled to crush the screener for return to high-impact exercise! I had been swimming and doing yoga classes since my doctor gave me the go-ahead at eight weeks, and it surprised me that I was ready for TRX / cardio / strength classes so soon after my daughter's birth. And I experienced almost no pelvic floor issues that many women experience after giving birth. Having an in-home physical therapist is a huge bonus when you're super pregnant or have a newborn! It's really important to find the right PT when they're coming to your home, and Ariel was great to have around. She is very professional yet personal and easy going, respectful and kind. Her wealth of knowledge extends beyond exercises into methods and products for staying mobile, comfortable, and maintaining sexual health. Lastly, scheduling appointments was easy and everything was automated. Ariel would send a follow up after every session and included a link to clear exercise videos that were updated each time I saw her. Rooted Physio and Performance has had such a positive impact on what has otherwise been a very difficult pregnancy and postpartum for me, and I'm very grateful to Ariel for her amazing support."
