Colton Peele

"I cannot say enough good things about Maryland Physical Therapy and the incredible team that works there. When I first came in, I was struggling with intense back pain. I had convinced myself--based on my MRI--that I was dealing with a herniated disc at L5 and S1. After seeing a couple of pain management doctors who were quick to suggest steroid injections without much explanation, I felt frustrated and uncertain. That all changed when I met Mike, the physical therapist. Mike took the time to really listen to me, understand my concerns, and carefully evaluate what was going on. He explained in detail how my body was functioning and helped me realize that my pain was actually coming from Sacroiliac Joint issues, not a disc problem. His ability to break down complex information and make it understandable is outstanding. Mike is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely committed to helping his patients heal. I am 100% confident in his expertise and highly recommend him for any physical therapy needs. He truly works to get you right--because that's his mission. At the front desk, Myra sets the tone for the entire practice. She is one of the kindest, most personable people you'll ever meet. She goes above and beyond to make sure patients feel welcomed and cared for, always ready to help with anything you need. Her warmth and dedication make every visit a positive experience. Mike's assistants, Leah and Katie, are equally fantastic. They are personable, supportive, and bring great energy to the therapy sessions. When you're working through physical challenges, having a team that encourages you and genuinely wants to see you succeed makes all the difference--and that's exactly what you'll find here. From start to finish, Maryland Physical Therapy provides not only excellent care but also a supportive environment where you feel valued as a patient. I would more than highly recommend this practice to anyone experiencing pain. You won't just be treated--you'll be truly cared for."

Aside from being an expert in his field, Dr. Mike takes time to explain everything clearly, ensuring you understand each step of your recovery journey. You will never feel rushed or unheard. The team's expertise is evident in the tangible progress I've made. Their commitment to your well-being shines through in every interaction. If you are looking for a physical therapy experience where you feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of, look no further than Maryland Physical Therapy."

"Absolutely love the atmosphere here! The front desk staff is wonderful and so easy to work with, and the physical therapist is fantastic. They quickly figured out what was going on with me and created a clear plan to help."

"First time there. Receptionist is excellent. I was impressed with Dr. Mike. I was a little leery going in, but he is very thorough and spent ample time with me. Between us we should be able to solve my issue. Well, my therapy is over. I'm all fixed up and made three great friends. It was a pleasure to have Dr. Mike, Katie and Myra team up to get this body of mine to feel better."

"Great facility, great staff and although I'm only just beginning, I have every confidence Dr. Mike knows what he is doing. He is an excellent communicator."

"Love Mike and his crew. Have been dealing with some chronic lower back pain that just hurts at 45. Mike chased it definitely differently than the last PT I went to and I'm definitely getting better. Still need time and some help but holy cow he was right. Sadly I didn't cross this off years ago. Can't wait to get to the point where I don't need PT anymore. Sadly he's going to get me there and feeling younger than my peers. Absolutely would recommend them for anyone who is interested in getting help and wants to put in the effort too."

"Mike is an excellent therapist. He explains how what he's doing will help you. I love that he explains things in detail. His Techs are great too. HOWEVER, the reason for my low rating has to do with their 24 hour cancellation policy. I DO agree they should have a cancellation policy however there are times when it needs to be waived. I am disabled on a limited income and was charged $50.00 for canceling because I was sick. I had an appointment on Friday morning at 8:30 and I called and cancelled Thursday evening (yes less than the 24 hours) because I was sick with the stomach virus, running a fever and vomiting. I called to cancel my appointment the minute I was sick. I was not sick that morning and therefore didn't cancel my appointment before 8:30 am the day before because I wasn't sick then. How can I be charged $50 for not canceling within 24 hours when I was fine in the morning but was sick in the evening? I tried explaining it to Myra (office staff) and all I got was I knew about the 24 hour policy. I explained I wasn't sick 24 hours before and was told that was their policy. I left a message for Mike the therapist and was unable to answer his call but he left me a voicemail message that he would talk to Myra and try to smooth things over and get it waived but that she's tough and tries to push it. Told me not to worry and just get better. I left 2 more messages the following week for Mike to find out if they waived it and because we didn't hear from him my husband physically went there and Myra informed him that it didn't matter I didn't call within 24 hours and therefore I owe the money. Needless to say I have cancelled all my appointments because I refuse to be charged 50.00 if I'm sick less than 24 hours before my appointment. I can't control the time I get sick. In fact my husband got therapy from them and got sick and cancelled the morning of. He was not charged. So if you are a patient there and sick less than 24 hours you better go there sick, contaminate everyone or you'll get charged $50.00. Not to be gross but I guess I should have gone even though I was running a high fever and would have puked everywhere had I gone to my appointment. That would have been fun for them to have to clean up. Be careful signing their 24 policy (which I did) because even if you're deathly sick she will not waive the $50.00 policy. I have never been anywhere that they prefer you to come in and get everyone sick (including other patients even if they just got out of surgery) or you must pay the $50.00 fee."

"If I could rate no stars and still leave a review I would. I have been requesting my records from the physical therapist and front desk person for almost 3 weeks! Do. Not. Use. This. Place!!!"
