Testimonials
"I cannot recommend Alicia enough! I found her at 13 months postpartum after seeing several other PFPTs and a urogyn and finding no relief. I had really given up hope that I could feel good and strong in my body again. Alicia taught me so much and also helped reassure that I am not broken. She is warm and validating and so thoughtful. I am so grateful I found her and ITR!"
"Terri is an absolutely awesome Physical Therapist. I worked with her for post surgery treatment. Not only have I recovered from the surgery, but as an ultra distance runner, I am now a stronger athlete than ever before. Terri has taught and guided me through an understanding of balance and strength; how the whole body is connected. Terri goes above and beyond caring for her clients."
"I had the pleasure of working with Alicia Keefe through my pregnancy and postpartum. During pregnancy she provided exercises and recommendations to relieve symptoms and prepare for labor. She even did a session with my partner to prepare him for how best to support during labor. During postpartum she provided a lot of support for my physical recovery so that I now feel strong and confident keeping up with my two active little ones. Highly recommend working with Alicia!"
"Alicia was instrumental in helping me get back to feeling like myself after a C-section delivery. I also went to during my pregnancy and she not only helped me a lot with hip pain during that time, she also provided me a lot of other resources and materials to help my pregnancy be more comfortable."
"I had the privilege of working with Liza M. as my pelvic floor PT from 20 weeks pregnant through 10 weeks postpartum with my second child, and I can't recommend her highly enough. During pregnancy, she equipped me with exercises to stay comfortable and virtually pain-free, and she taught me different pushing positions, breathing strategies, and techniques that gave me confidence going into labor. She supported me through some very specific issues (short cervix during pregnancy and bladder irritability post birth). She also did gentle work on my ligaments to help ensure my baby was in the best position for birth. Thanks to her support and preparation, I had the unmedicated birth of my dreams--a six-hour labor that was an incredible improvement from my first, which lasted 30 hours and was far more painful. The biggest difference was that I worked with Liza this time. Postpartum, she continued to support me by releasing tension in my pelvic floor and giving me knowledge and tools to continue healing well beyond our sessions together. What sets Liza apart is how deeply she cares about her clients and her curiosity as a practitioner. She frequently followed up with new studies or insights she had researched or discussed with colleagues, always thinking about how best to support my unique situation. Liza is nothing short of amazing, and I truly credit her with the success of my second birth and the speed of my recovery."
"Great experience at ITR. Anna has been incredible to work with for hip pain and regaining core strength after three pregnancies and C-sections. So grateful to be working with her! Highly recommend."
"I truly cannot recommend Alicia enough. After my C-section, I was experiencing nerve pain that no one seemed to understand. I saw multiple providers -- and each time, I left feeling dismissed, or told "this is just how it is after surgery." It was incredibly discouraging. I knew something was wrong, but I didn't have the language or support to make sense of it. When I called ITR I was referred to Alicia because she specializes in nerve-related postpartum pain. From the very first session, I felt something shift. She didn't just hear me -- she understood. She explained what was actually happening in my body, why I was experiencing the pain I was feeling, and how we could begin to heal it. That alone felt life-changing. And then: the treatment started working. Session by session, things began to shift in a real, tangible way. The relief, the progress, the hope -- it has been deeply empowering to finally understand my own body again and to feel supported by someone who is so knowledgeable, patient, validating, and genuinely invested in my healing. I've been working with Alicia for a few months now, and the progress I've made with her has exceeded anything I thought was possible postpartum. I truly didn't know if I would ever feel better -- and now I do. It has been so empowering to get my body back. Not all PT practices are the same -- and this one is absolutely the gold standard. The entire team here is also incredible -- kind, warm, supportive, flexible, and truly wonderful to work with. I always feel cared for, not just as a patient, but as a person. If you're on the fence, or unsure whether pelvic floor PT is right for you -- this is your sign. You're in the best hands here."
"We've had such a positive experience working with ITR Physical Therapy and specifically working with Lauren for my daughter's pelvic floor issues. Lauren is incredibly easy to work with--she creates a welcoming and supportive environment that has really helped my daughter open up about how she's feeling, which is so important in this type of care. Lauren provides thoughtful feedback and takes the time to show us hands-on techniques and proper form for exercises we can do at home, which has made a big difference. Her follow-up is always helpful, and she truly seems invested in my daughter's progress. Scheduling appointments is straightforward and stress-free, and even though the practice doesn't take our insurance, they provide a detailed billing statement with all the necessary codes, which makes it easy to submit for possible reimbursement. We're so grateful to have found Lauren and would highly recommend her to any families looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate pediatric physical therapist."
