However, when my relative went to the therapist, the therapist backed up my relative saying they had not completely healed. Do not allow Dr Lyon to dictate that you have healed fully if you feel like you have not, stay adamant, and counter his excuse of the "textbook says by now" mentality. We all heal at different rates because we are all different individuals. There are many wonderful surgeons around, consider everyone."

"The reason Dr Lyon has such a high reputation is because of his attention to detail and patient outcome and his intuitive understanding of both the mechanics of our anatomy and the hardware he uses to put us back together. My tibia (and fib) were wrecked in August and in November I'm walking with a little pain. After injuries like these, the bones and joints are repaired but the muscle and soft tissue take a beating and go into atrophy. PT makes all the difference. Minor injury? Go somewhere else. Lyon's schedule is that of one of the best trauma surgeons. If you need to save a limb, this is your guy.
