Testimonials
"If I could give Dr. Andrei Racik zero stars, I would. I came to him seeking help for debilitating pain, only to be met with dismissiveness, misinformation, and ultimately, harm. Dr. Racik outright dismissed my diagnosed connective tissue disorder, falsely claiming that pain is not a symptom and that it had no relevance to my medication or treatment. This is not just incorrect--it's dangerous. Had he taken the time to review my well-documented medical history, he would have seen that I have significant medication and procedural intolerances. Instead, he repeatedly prescribed medications and performed interventions that caused me harm. He also disgustingly told me that as a 37-year-old working mother to three little kids who cannot walk without mobility aids that I'm lucky to not have cancer or to be an amputee. Any doctor, pain psychologist, or therapist immediately notes what a serious red flag this is with potentially dangerous implications to the patient. The most egregious example was the spinal cord stimulator trial he recommended. I went into the procedure with cautious optimism, having made sure he assured me I would have direct access to him for follow-up care. That turned out to be an empty promise. After the procedure, I was told he would speak with me. He never did. I was promised a follow-up call the next day. It never came. When I finally reached someone from his office, I was given incorrect instructions, incorrect contact numbers, and conflicting information at every turn. Despite my worsening pain and complications, I was met with indifference. A nurse suggested I take Motrin, which was completely useless. Then they gave me Ketamine, which again, noting my history of medication intolerance, was completely inappropriate. I was pressured to keep the stimulator in five extra days, without being informed of the financial cost or the potential harm this could cause me. It was only after I suffered through this disastrous experience that my next doctor immediately ran a pharmacological panel--something Dr. Racik should have considered from the start. If he had, he would have seen my intolerances and spared me from unnecessary suffering. Beyond the medical incompetence, the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic patient care at his practice is alarming. I have spent months trying to resolve billing errors caused by his office's negligence, with no resolution. Dr. Racik did not help me. He harmed me. He dismissed my condition, failed to review my history, and subjected me to treatments that worsened my pain. If you are a patient with complex medical needs, do not trust him with your care."
