"Dr. Pickett was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I was charged a $500 cancellation fee without any mention of said policy after choosing a surgeon better suited for my needs. This would seem like something worth mentioning (verbally, not hidden in an email) ahead of time. For reference, none of the other 3 orthopaedic practices I sought out had any such policies. Seems like a money grab especially considering the nature of my injury (acute) and how quickly I needed to have my surgery scheduled. The last thing an injured person needs when trying to navigate care is predatory fees and this practice tries to justify them."

He went above and beyond by taking on the scheduled surgeries for that day and called me before the surgery to discuss his approach. I tore the meniscus in my left knee, and I had planned to do surgery elsewhere but I had a family member mention I should look into Anderson Clinic. Dr. Pickett was so knowledgeable and so relatable and easy going, and 6 week out I feel stronger than ever. I am so grateful. Plus PT, obviously, my life is so much better than before :). It's a big clinic, but the staff have all been excellent and easy to reach, as well. If I tear my other knee, I'll definitely come back here."
