Testimonials

Amy Webb

"I brought my daughter in for persistent back pain and came away deeply disappointed. The doctor ordered an x-ray, confirmed there was no fracture, mentioned we could maybe get an MRI, and told her to take Motrin -- all in under three minutes. That was it. I should note that on this particular day, there was no inclement weather in progress or forecast, and we appeared to be the only patients in the office. What was missing was any semblance of empathy or thoroughness. No explanation of why her back might be hurting, no questions about her activities or lifestyle, no concrete plan going forward. Like any patient, my daughter is a patient who deserved to feel heard, and instead we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Dr. Robert Dolitsky may have technically done the minimum required of him, but medicine -- especially with a young patient -- should involve more than checking boxes. If this is the standard of care at the Pikesville OrthoMaryland practice, I would strongly encourage others to look elsewhere."

"The appointment was very brief and did not feel in any way comprehensive. Dr. Dolitsky asked minimal questions and did not complete a physical exam other than to request I touch my toes and lean backwards while identifying my pain level. He briefly reviewed X-rays that were 5 months old and expressed that some pain and discomfort was to be anticipated based on scans, but did not recommend further imaging to better understand current pain or rule out potential causes for pain. He provided minimal suggestions for resolution and pain management, other than to try PT and come back in 8 weeks. Overall, the appointment felt dismissive and unproductive. I will not be returning."

"Dr. Dolitsky was excellent in every regard. Explained what my neck spine MRI said in clear lay person terms. With the potential impact was. What was still unknown. Set me up with physical therapy as a first step. Explained what would be necessary if surgery was the next step and how long recovery would be. Checking in was easy and on time. Personnel at this stage, we're all friendly and efficient.. When leaving, I went to one of the individuals to sign up for physical therapy in the front area. This was the only place that wasn't five stars. She looked and acted like I was interfering with whatever she was doing, and she was doing nothing at the time. She curtly directed me down the hall to physical therapy. The desk personnel at physical therapy were very friendly and helpful scheduling first evaluation and next visits."

"I didn't wait much beyond my appointment time, maybe 15 min. Dr Dolitsky is open to questions regarding my condition. The office gad my most recent MRI taken in Florida therefore he was able to look at it to make some determination about what's causing me so much pain. He gave me a new prescription, hope it gives me some relief."

Tressa

"Dr. Dolitsky was very thorough and he took his time to explain to me about my diagnosis and we discussed alternative treatments."

Ellen Foreman-Sack

"Dr dolinsky made me wait 1 hour after time for visit. Asked me what happened & I did. He never once examined me. Told him I had X-rays down for my orthopedic surgeon. He sat down . Pulled up the images & told me to use ice & or heat. The parts of my body that were crated were not the parts that hurt from my fall. Inadequate visit & not worth my $5 co pay."
