Testimonials

Yessica Hernandez

"Last August 2025, my mother underwent total knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. Asit Shah. After God, we are truly grateful to him for his professionalism, kindness, and empathy. Our first appointment with him was at the end of May, and since then, the treatment we received from Dr. Shah and his team has been exceptional. The follow-up care was extraordinary before, during, and after the procedure. The organization of the surgery was excellent. They helped us throughout the whole process, from contacting us by phone the day after the surgery to arranging Home Care Therapy for the first two weeks after the operation. We cannot thank Dr. Shah and his staff enough for the trust, and peace of mind they showed us. We would especially like to extend our sincere and deep gratitude to the doctor's assistants, Colleen Wojna and Ina, Ms. Nancy Bello and Charleen Rivera, in the administrative area. We recommend Dr. Shah and his entire team 100%. See you at the next surgery! Thank you very much! God bless you"

"I had images (X-rays and MRI's) on bilateral hips and was told the hips were fine aside from some arthritis. I was informed that the MRI was not correct and that because I am only 50yrs old, I do not need surgery. I was also told that Englewood hospital does not have robotics to perform hip surgery anyway, even if it was required. According to two different doctors who work in the OR at Englewood, one of which is a family member of mine, they do indeed have the robotics and that they are used for hip surgeries. I actually had two surgeries previously at Englewood in which these robotics were used. I was also informed that Hackensack Medical Center also has the robotics for the surgery. So I don't know why I was lied to regarding this information. After a 2nd and 3rd opinion on my bilateral images, I was also informed by both the 2nd and 3rd surgeons that both my knees were in bad condition, and that I do require replacements of both hips. So I have no idea why I was led to believe nothing was wrong with me. I now have a lot of trouble walking due to my hip problems. The 2nd and 3rd opinions said that both images showed no cartilage left between the ball and socket, and that they don't know why I was told their was nothing wrong with my hips. The other surgeons also said that age has nothing to do with it, and that people in their 30's have had hip replacements. So 50yrs old is not surprising to them at all. Having doctors and nurses who work at the hospital in my family, they also found this extremely troubling. So to be straight forward, I would not trust his opinion with other patients in my humble opinion. Be aware of a lack of honesty!"

"I had a knee replacement surgery about 4 months now, and I'm doing really good, I have very minimal almost no pain. And I'm walking way better now. Very happy with the results. The Doctor and the nurses are very attentive with me, and when I go to my appointments they are very quick, great service, recommend "
