Testimonials

Douglas Ladd

"I had both rotator cuffs repaired by Dr. Moinfar. He was excellent! First one done in 2016. Went back for the other rotator cuff, that had a major tear, in 2020. Would definitely recommend him. Knowledgeable and personable."

"Dr. Moinfar is phenomenal, and I highly recommend him to anyone!!!!!! He corrected my partial right shoulder dislocation, by performing a Bankart Repair surgery on 10.05.18, with minimal pain and scars. Dr. Moinfar is very knowledgeable, professional and very down-to-earth and was very welcoming to me as a new patient. Overall, I love Dr. Moinfar and his staff....he's the best, what can I say "

"My father had both knees replaced (12/2019 & 11/2022) by Dr. Moinfar. Both were a great experience, he was golfing in no time! Dr. Moinfar is extremely knowledgeable, has great bed side manner, and up to date on the latest technology. Highly recommend!"

"I highly recommend Dr. Moinfar - Dr. Moinfar is a great surgeon. He can be a little overwhelming at first, but if you have trust things will turn out great. I had a rather difficult surgery that many surgeons do not perform and he took an interest in that part and made sure I fully understood everything. He does talk SUPER fast when you meet him and seems to be at a fast pace - you'll get used to it. I started writing things down/recording because there was no way I'd remember everything. Don't mistake his urgency as not caring - he is just a busy man. He even tried to reschedule my appointment the day of the surgery which made me nervous - but everything turned out fine. I was skeptical at first as my first appointment he couldn't see anything and told me I needed to get an MRI with ink injected so it was more visible. This was my third surgery so I understood all the scar tissue making it difficult. I brushed that off, and had my next appointment cancelled and rescheduled - which made my a little angry. Still, he came very highly recommended so I stayed with it. When he got the results and I came back for my follow up, he explained in detail how severe my situation was and drew everything out in a diagram so I could fully understand. I was missing 35-40% of my "golf tee" part of the shoulder that holds the ball in place (shoulder dislocating every single day, no hyperbole). He talked about a surgery where he would take bone somewhere else and rebuild the golf tee. Obviously I was very nervous, and like I said he changed the surgery time the day of, so that made me uneasy. But I stuck with it, sat in a serious cast in for 4 weeks and started rehab. The rehab center is right below his office and the staff there are friendly and informative as well. It's been 7 months now, I have almost full range again and am still building my strength up. I have been dislocation free since my surgery, for the first time in as long as I can remember. I had some issues with elbow pain after the surgery, and he insisted it was normal and would go away. He gave me some cream and a cortisone shot to deal with the pain and lo and behold, I go back for my final visit today pain free - shoulder and elbow wise. He may seem like a lot at front and maybe a little distant, but he just moves at a fast pace. I highly recommend him."

"DR. MOINFAR is AHHHHHHMAZING!!!! I went to a few different doctors and in two minutes within meeting Dr. Moinfar he not only diagnosed me with a torn bicep muscle but even formed a game plan for me since I work with my arms as a hairstylist. We tried to avoid surgery but in all.... getting the surgery he fixed something that I thought was unfixable. He walked me through every step along the way. Even took the time to get to know me. I felt like I'd known him for years. I even sent my co worker there for her wrist surgery and she loved him as well. I will continue to send all my clients to him who need surgery. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"I highly recommend Dr. Moinfar for your orthopedic needs. He genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery to health. Recently, Dr. Moinfar went "above beyond the call of duty" to ensure that I received the care that I needed after my insurance company initially did not approve a specific treatment. This level of caring is rare this day."

Michael DellaVolla

"He saw me for approximately 60 seconds. Did very little examination of the affected area, in this case a torn bicep. Then proceeded to tell me that the loss of strength and cosmetic appearance did not warrant him performing the surgery. I promptly then stated aside from the cosmetic aspect, the loss of strength in my opinion did warrant repair. I'm still a very physically active man that needs more than 1 1/2 arms. Then in a very arrogant tone told me that it was my prerogative to feel that way and it was his prerogative to refuse to perform the surgery! I was under the impression he was the best and took care of elite athletes in the area? I guess not being an elite athlete meant he couldn't charge me an outrageous fee and didn't warrant his time?? I would not recommend my worst enemy to this doctor."

"I highly recommend Dr. Moinfar for those seeking professional and effective orthopedic treatment. Dr. Moinfar operated on my shoulder to re-attach my biceps muscle approximately 4 years ago. The results were exceptional and the repaired shoulder is stronger than my non-injured shoulder. Scarring was minimal as his surgical technique placed the incision in the natural crease of the shoulder. Recently he treated me for chronic tendinitis in my elbow. In this case his non-surgical interventions have provided great relief while allowing me to continue my physical work full time. Appointments waits are minimal and they typically bring patients back within 10 minutes. Staff are all friendly and courteous as is Dr. Moinfar."
