Testimonials

Eli M

"Great little place for a walk-in. It's all one room, so no need to disrobe for a table massage and they don't use much oil. Staff is very nice. It seems like strong pressure is their default, which is my preference, + masseuse did a great job of building up to it. Prices very reasonable."

Sierra Rosetta

"I live right down the street and this place has been very helpful during my grad school journey. I'm sitting in a desk all day reading and typing and I've tried every massage they have and usually leave feeling great! Definitely communicate if the pressure is too much because sometimes it is and I am sore the next day. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is sometimes the massage therapists act a little odd. Examples: changing therapists halfway through my massage, coughing on me, making weird sounds, but I've never been too uncomfortable."

Matt Schumake

"Had an excellent chair massage yesterday around lunchtime - didn't even need an appointment. I'm very happy to have found this place. I highly recommend to anyone working in downtown Evanston who could use a little extra relaxation on their lunch break!"

"These are the best masseuse in Evanston. I'm an athlete with a lot of pain. This is a great place for athletes with pain pain. On my next visit, I had some pain in my back: and I showed the owner exactly where the pain was: and he got rid of the pain within a half an hour. I'm very impressed by that. It's very difficult to find somebody that can take you out of pain after you have a hard workout. Ask for the "Master" - really he is the best"

Edsom Koch

"Nope They only have 2 people max working at anytime. No front desk host, therefore every time someone walks in your MT will stop to talk to whoever walks in. It is first come first serve bases, and the people waiting sit in the waiting area few feet from you, some people are talking on the phone or with each other. Street parking, on busy days you might not find anything near. The MT talk to each other in Chinese while massaging you all the time."

Christina Rosenthal

"I had the best experience here! I was visiting from out of town and in so much back and neck pain, and came to see Tom after walking by. I did a table massage, and it was very intense, but the relief I felt was incredible and has lasted a long time! Usually massage irritates my sciatica, so I was hesitant to try again, but it did not bother me at all. I just wish I could come back regularly. I will be back if I am in town again. Thank you Tom!"

"Very proficient massage but for $115 I had a person coughing over me for over an hour.... no mask. Towards the end it was very clear that he was sick. I've been a returning customer and at this point I don't know if I'll come back."

Anna Wickham

"Art of Health is such an amazing spot in Evanston - even when I move downtown to Chicago I know I'll find myself coming back. Tom is absolutely amazing at what he does. I ran the marathon in October and experienced a lot of pain associated with training. Every time I went to Art of Health, I would leave feeling rejuvenated and healthy. The prices are extremely reasonable and I always feel very valued when I go in. I would go every day if I could!"
