Testimonials

Kore Fung

"My experience at Spear 5th Avenue at Park Slope, Brooklyn was excellent. The facility is well organized and clean. The team is friendly and extremely helpful creating a very positive comfortable and enjoyable environment. Aashika is my physical therapist for almost 3 months for my long term aged related knees pain that limit my walking up and down the stairs. She is professionally knowledgeable, genuine, and compassionate. She is very detailed orientated and customized different exercises on each visit as well as at home exercises. During the time with her, I learn to strengthen the muscles of my knees, thigh, legs, ankles and back as well as how to balance myself safely in daily life. She gives clear and easy to understand instructions, motivate me to go beyond my comfort zone to build the muscle strength. She understands my limitation and concerns; hence makes recommendations accordingly. Because of her, my knee pain is gone and I walk better and balance better. With her encouragement, I join a gym so that my health will continuously improve. Thanks to Aashika and I highly recommend her and Spear Physical Therapy."

"Between an ankle surgery rehab and a shoulder issue, I was at Spear for a year. This location is fantastic and everyone I worked with was amazing, from the techs to the therapists. I worked with Sukriye Cakir and she was very knowledgeable and made sure to challenge me in all the best ways so that I made steady progress. Highly recommend!"

"The staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. While I initially had a couple different therapists due to scheduling, most of my sessions were with Liza - who was very attentive, informative, and quick to modify movements/exercises when my physical impairments made them either not possible or at the first sign of pain. The program was safe but challenging and I had noticeable improvement in pain and range of motion and continue with the home exercise programs given to me after the unfortunate end of my authorizations."
