Testimonials
"I started PT with George el Batity for a torn labrum in my shoulder. I decided to try PT instead of going right in for surgery, and I can say I am beyond grateful to have worked with George. My first day of PT, I wasn't even able to take my phone out of my pocket without pain in my shoulder. Fast forward to today, and I am able to perform everyday activities and even have returned to sports pain free. George is respectful, extremely knowledgeable in his field, and most importantly listens to his patients with the full intent of getting them back to pre-injury levels. He truly cares about every patient and will work with you in a way that balances friendly conversation with purposeful instruction. Working with George is special. He not only makes PT actually fun, but he is incredibly results driven. He will coach you, motivate you, and especially if you are an athlete, he selects exercises that are challenging when they need to be. I wouldn't want it to be any other way. If your injury is preventing you from getting back to the court, field, or track like mine was, George is absolutely the guy for you. His recovery plans work, and I cannot recommend him more. PS- the PTs at Spear NOHO are incredible. Everyone is so friendly and its such a special community in there. 100/10."
"I had PT with Lexi Gordon at NOHO Spear for around 6 months as part of recovery from shoulder surgery and it was the best experience that I could have asked for. Lexi was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and flexible. She listened to my surgical history and my recovery goals, crafted a personal and well-rounded recovery plan, and helped walk me through every step and exercise during my PT and recovery process. She was always inquiring about how I was/had been feeling during every session and adjusting our session exercises based on my current and long-term needs. She was also great about making sure that I had the knowledge, information, and capabilities to continue my PT work at home in between our sessions at Spear NOHO. She is incredibly knowledgable in her field and was able to show and assign me exercises that would address any and all issues that appeared during my recovery process. She was also incredibly flexible with scheduling and was always willing to work in sessions around both of our busy schedules. I always felt prioritized as a patient and felt that she was just as invested in my recovery as I was. I would highly recommend working with Lexi for PT! I could not have asked for a more positive experience and I feel completely recovered and prepared for anything that life can throw at me since working with her! Thank you Lexi!"
"GEORGE IS THE GOAT!! After breaking my ankle and foot, I spent a few months at another PT clinic and honestly felt like I was getting nowhere...I saw little improvement and felt ignored during sessions. Then I happened to walk by Spear and booked an appointment, and I'm so glad I did because I was lucky enough to work with George El Batity. From the very first session, George was incredibly thorough and intentional. He measured my ankle and foot mobility, asked about my goals, and took the time to understand my usual activity level and what I wanted to get back to. He explained the plan and what each step of the process would look like. From the beginning I was already more confident in recovering. Over the following months, he consistently paid close attention to my progress, even while working with other patients, and continually adjusted my program to challenge me. I never felt like I was just going through the motions and I would walk away each session feeling stronger and stronger. Now I've completed PT and I'm back to sprinting and moving with the same flexibility I had before my injury. I genuinely couldn't recommend George more. Thank you George!!"
