"I recently just finished up 11 months of physical therapy with Tom (who's worked with almost every member of my family!) to rehab my torn ACL from a soccer injury. From start to finish, Tom has been absolutely wonderful. There really are not enough stars to rate him! Right after the initial injury, Tom explained what was going on with my knee better than any orthopedist could. He took the time to go through every detail of my MRI results with me and helped me weigh my options to make a choice that was best for my health and for my active lifestyle. He also put together a list of reputable surgeons for me to reach out to along with some important questions that I should ask them. Tom addressed all of my concerns (there were many!) thoroughly, and made sure that I felt confident, calm, and strong before my big surgery. As someone who's never undergone anything like this before, I very much appreciated his efforts to ease my anxiety. After surgery, Tom showcased his deep knowledge of physical therapy by giving me challenging, creative, & effective exercises that had my knee feeling better and better after each session. Although rehabbing a torn-up knee is painful, Tom made the process much more enjoyable with his positive attitude, his jokes, and his friendly demeanor. He personalized every second of my rehab with fun soccer drills to keep me motivated and hopeful about being the athlete I used to be. He provided me with many exercises that I could do at home to supplement the healing process and was always available through email if I ever had any questions or concerns. Tom educated me on proper exercise technique so that I could work out safely and prevent another injury when released from his care. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I got the best care possible. I'm now 10 months post-knee surgery and back to playing soccer, running 5Ks, and lifting weights even better than I used to.
