"I started acupuncture to support my TTC journey after experiencing a pretty traumatic loss earlier in the year. While there was a lot of confusion for me about the right next steps to take medically (medicated cycles, IUI, IVF) I knew I wanted to add acupuncture as a way to support my body. Since starting acupuncture my cycles became much more regulated and predictable which has allowed my partner and I to not feel so beholden to medical intervention but fully supported if that is our choice. I also really appreciate how understanding and informative both Jen and Julie have been not only about my treatment with them, but in sharing their incredible breadth of knowledge about the fertility community. "After over 10 years of acupuncture at The Nest, I cannot write a review that glows brightly enough for these amazing practitioners! I have worked with every clinician there, and have only wonderful things to say about them! I started my acupuncture journey as a hard skeptic, having had no experience with Traditional Chinese Medicine whatsoever. They had to work to win me over! I knew I wanted kind, caring, considerate acupuncturists who would truly listen to me, and that is exactly what I have always gotten at The Nest. I started out just wanting some help getting pregnant, and it worked! Continuing acupuncture care through both of my pregnancies had a huge impact on my physical comfort in all the crazy ways that pregnancy changes your body--especially nausea and fatigue. Between and after my pregnancies, the practitioners at The Nest have been instrumental in helping me combat pain from autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis). In fact, mainly due to their care, I am largely PAIN-FREE without medication and have been for years!!! Jen and her staff have always been incredibly kind to my children when I bring them with me. She has successfully treated them to alleviate symptoms of sensory sensitivities, concussions, colds, coughs, flu, pink eye, and eczema. My children and I depend on Jen's vast knowledge and experience with TCM to recover faster from all those lovely germs the kids bring home. I cannot say how grateful I am!
