"Like other reviews mentioned- the billing department is terrible. I was seen for two days worth of acupuncture and paid out of pocket for these services (despite being told my insurance covered said services). After paying, I assumed everything was taken care of. Throughout the next few months, they had been charging me recurring payments for the same two services (that I already paid for). When I realized I had been charged hundreds for services that I already paid for, I notified the team and they did acknowledge their negligence and refunded me the money. Now I'm receiving a bill from the same 2 services (that occurred almost a year ago now) for $499. The billing team has not responded to my emails about this which concerns me greatly. I've cross referenced the multiple bills they've now sent me for the two dates that I received services and each one includes very different pricing for each service rendered. Their continued negligence and lack of transparency is harmful and unethical. It's a shame because I believe the doctors on staff are knowledgeable. Be warned."

"Warm, caring and professional. These people really know what healing is about and have helped me tremendously with a knee injury. They are extremely knowledgeable about the human body and they know how to help you facilitate a real recovery without drugs or surgery!"

"Like others have noted the billing is a bit of a scam. I keep getting hit with multiple charges even though they said I was up to date on payments and didn't have anymore, I now have another charge for a service from two months ago. Very unprofessional and unethical considering I only had two appointments and the second one was 30 minutes and I was basically rushed off the phone. Very disappointed."

"BUYER BEWARE. Just got hit with a huge charge from AMH from months ago. It's unclear why this wasn't charged sooner. Anyway it reminded me how horrible this experience was. I had a provider that actually recommended that I take orally ingested colloidal silver. This supplement is potentially toxic and has not been proven to be effective. I was told explicitly not to consult "Dr. Google" when I was "prescribed" this, so of course the first thing I did was research. While Dr. Google might not be reliable, the CDC is and they explicitly advise against the use of colloidal silver due to lack of efficacy and concerns about toxicity."

"The care was fine but the administrative portion of the business is a mess. I have not been in over a year and received a totally unexpected $600 invoice that they claim was for services from twelve months ago. There is no way for me to challenge it as I don't have records from then. Instead of a call to explain anything, they just charged the card I had on file with them. You'd think a Private Equity backed company would at least have the basic administrative and billing portion down but they do not. Find another provider with their act together."

"I've been going to Aligned Modern Health for a long while now (probably over 30 sessions combined). Dr. Kate for acupuncture, Dr. Raq for chiropractic, and Rene for physical therapy are the absolute best! They're all super qualified and knowledgeable about their areas. They give great guidance and support. AND they are just wonderfully kind and caring human beings. Couldn't recommend them more! Oh and to compare, I've been to many chiropractors in the past several years and they all seem to be a bit slimy with upselling sessions or cushions. Totally not the case here."

"I absolutely love this business. I've used all of their services throughout the years. I'm currently being treated for shoulder and back injuries. Dr. Raq, the chiropractic provider at the Wicker Park location is awesome. He provides the best 1-on-1 care and listens to your issues and provides sound treatment plans which do work. The entire staff at this location is friendly and very attentive to their patients. You most definitely are in the right hands here. Ryan, one of the physical / rehab therapist's is great. He is thorough in his treatment routines for you and pushes you in a positive direction. Katie, the acupuncturist, well she is awesome as well. As I stated, the entire team, including the Clinic Managers are wonderful. This company is truly a one stop shop of services geared towards improving your body and guiding you along your journey to full recovery.
