Testimonials

Karen

"Dr John Steele at Towson Orthopedics is amazing. He is very experienced, kind, and honest. Dr Steele performed a total knee replacement on my husband. My husband was pain free, up walking and moving his knee after a week and was told by PT and other Doctors that the incision line looks perfect and his range of motion is remarkable. My husband wants to have his other knee done! I also see Dr Steele for my knees and hip and has been wonderful We know why Dr Dalury hand picked Dr Steele to take over when he retired. Dr Dalury wanted the best for his patients and he knew that Dr Steele would be the best, and he was right."

Paul Youngman

"Dr Steele was extremely professional and caring. He listened to all my concerns and answered all of my questions. I was very nervous about getting my total knee replacement. Dr Steele and his staff made the whole experience very easy. I have no worries going back to get my other knee done when it is needed."

Christine Collins

"My surgery went exceedingly well. Dr Steele and the whole surgical team were exceptional and very caring and helpful. I felt I was in very good hands from start to finish. I'm really grateful to Dr Steele and his team for such good care."

"I went to Dr Steele based on his wonderful reviews and was very disappointed. I'd been having bad knee pain and went to see him at Towson Orthopedics. They took X-rays first and then I met with him. He spent maybe 10 minutes with me, never showed me my X-rays and told me my knee was riddled with arthritis and bone on bone. He suggested cortisone shots until they stopped working and then a knee replacement. I was shocked but went with the cortisone shot. This worked for about one week. I thought it odd that he never showed me my X-rays. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and am so glad I did. My new dr looked at my X-rays and didn't see what Dr Steele saw at all. He ordered an mri and saw some arthritis and a torn meniscus. I've since had arthroscopic surgery on my knee and am recovering nicely. Im wondering if dr Steele was looking at someone else's X-ray. Dr Steele had great reviews but I definitely didn't see that side of him. Just a warning, never be scared to get a second opinion!"

Sharon Smith

"Always a pleasant experience. Front desk, secretaries/schedulers, x-ray techs friendly, professional, and efficient. Dr. Steele is wonderful...caring, excellent surgeon, takes time for questions and explanations. I had a total knee replacement. Recovered without any problems."

David Reese

"Dr Steele is a very good Doctor with a great personality and explains things thoroughly. As with all the doctors here. I have had a great experience. Highly recommended."

Fran Schultz

"Staff were professional and pleasant but I felt like I was on an assembly line. Not one person asked what my pain level was. It seemed quite robotic and impersonal. MRI prescribed to r/o arthritis. At least I was assured my hip bones looked good."

Christine H

"The doctors here are THE best in orthopedics hands down. I've had surgery with Dr. Schroeder and an upcoming surgery with Dr. Steele and I highly recommend both doctors! The quality of care, level of knowledge and competency make this practice stand out from the rest."
