"This is Ivy Corp review. They ask for reviews if you will give them 5 stars. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 specifically requires your facility be accessible to individuals with disabilities. I was in an accident entering the parking lot which was covered in ice. Two employees (Donny and Soya)slid entering and bounced over the curb as well. Unfortunately the staff didn't think to call patients to let them know the entrance was a death trap. A month later and the parking lot is still not cared for. No salt when iced over and then no snow plow or shoveling the sidewalk. I asked to speak to the regional director Josh Velarde. Josh blew off the request so I submitted feedback through the Ivy website. Finally my phone rang. Josh called and told me he would follow up with me as I told him I'd like to be made whole. Josh asked how I was but this is weeks after the accident and his team had told him I was not injured. I didn't hear from Josh for the next week so I text him asking what was the verdict. Josh told me he hadn't heard anything. Josh wanted to find out Ivy's legal responsibility and said he wanted to help me. Josh ignored me again until I called him. At this point Josh said he hadn't heard anything so I was out of luck. Josh had no interest in helping me. He just wanted to make sure Ivy was protected legally. Josh said there landlord would try to do a better job with the parking lot. "Try"? I would think Josh would say he was sorry and it won't happen again. That might admit guilt though. The landlord hung up on me when I tried to speak to her. I had been a patient for almost two years. Part of spinal cord is dead, brain degeneration, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, 3 bad discs, neuropathy, retrolisthesis, along with muscle and tendon problems. 3 fractures, 2 torn hip labrum's, torn shoulder labrum, and torn rotator cuff. These injuries were not sustained in this accident. Ivy made lots of money off me and 3 family members I referred. This corporation does not care about its patients. Therapists do. This is terrible representation of your great staff that has been working very hard with me . The entire experience has been a drain on me emotionally and financially. The entire process was over two months. Multiple patients have commented on how dangerous the parking lot is. Patients with ailments come to Ivy. There is no curb ramp and no Ivy sign on Rt 59. The front doors to not have a handicap button on them and cannot be opened by my 80 year old mom. The clinic is not wheelchair accessible. The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 specifically requires your facility be accessible to individuals with disabilities. That is your clientele. Let's get real! Shame on Ivy. Other companies are listed on the street sign but not Ivy. You can only enter from the south and this is completely blind with no turn warning. A U turn is required on Rt 59 if traveling southbound. I wish Ivy and Josh were equal to the staff in the building as I would have been a lifer. I hope this helps future patients. Therapy was good. Chandree is my boy! Kaylen kicked my butt in a great way! Mom and I will miss our friends. It hurts moving on but there is no Ivy family. I added pictures of the lot covered in ice and a month later it being snowed on and not cared for. Ivy and the landlord didn't learn from my accident. The entrance is hidden behind trees with no warning to turn. Don't do reviews until you have a full experience and take everything into account. I made that mistake. You are your best advocate. Speak up at therapy. Push yourself at pt and ask for exercises/stretching to do on own. Staff is very friendly. Clinic needs more to be 5 star. My accident was on February 6th at 9am. Rt 59 was treated and safe to drive on. The pictures of the black ice and accident were on Feb 6 and the snowy and icy lot were on March 20th. Ivy response is sorry. Nothing about ADA and helping me even though the text says they are trying."
"The entire staff was so welcoming and very professional. Thank you for making me feel comfortable . Shout out to the ladies at the front desk, Kida and Sheniyah My physical therapist, AK, professional and knowledgeable! It's just a great atmosphere!"
"What can I say about this place... it's incredible! All of the staff are so knowledgeable and beyond friendly! After one visit it feels like family. You hope your PT visits will continue for life. From exercises to acupuncture it is a place full of "healing" energy. I would recommend this place over and over again! Thank you guys for helping become stronger and feel better. "
"Ivy League is a great place! Everyone is genuinely interested in you and knowledgeable to get you the most desirable outcome! Highly recommend!"
"This is by far the best place to go to for physical therapy. I was in a lot of pain and didn't even realize how much my morale changed because of it. Chaundree was my physical therapist and he was so kind, very knowledgeable and literally brought me back to life. I'm not one for physical therapy, I usually skip out after a few sessions but not only did Chaundree help me but the whole team was a true delight to be around. Kida at the front desk was so helpful and understanding when I first called and was in a lot of pain. Hamza, Vicky, Soya, Mark and Kaylyn helped me work through some of my exercises and pushed me in the best way. I can't thank this team enough for what they did for me. I highly recommend this place. If I ever need physical therapy again I won't go anywhere else."
"First visit for lower back pain went well. I believe AK's hands are magical and he dug deep into my 65 year old beat up back and gave me relief. I'm looking foward to my next visit because I'm tired of being in pain... And no he didn't pay me for this review..."
"I have been going here for a few weeks for a foot injury. Overall, the therapy provided has been competent and effective. What stood out to me : all the therapists are very attentive to their patients, they work as a team, they all know their patients by name, seem to enjoy their job and keep the atmosphere light and happy. In my case, I worked a lot with a gentleman named Soy, he is excellent. I think the setup is a reflection of the owner AK, who himself is professional and personable and does a good job of running a great place. Definitely had a good experience here."
"AK and the team are by far the most competent and enthusiastic group of therapists in the business. They truly care about their clients and their physical and emotional well being, taking a holistic approach to the rehabilitation process. It was jarring to go from being an active person to being confined to a scooter for 6 weeks due to a fall, but the crew at Ivy assured me that I'd be back to myself in no time and truly, I made significant progress ahead of schedule. I'm so grateful that I found these professionals who created such a warm and inviting place to go to each week. Thank you, for everything!"
