Navi the Physical Therapist was very patient, very clear when giving instructions and explaining the goals of the exercises given. The environment as a whole is a very warm, comfortable one. Keep up the good work. I even recommended to my son that he should switch to JAG MARINE PARK"

"Jag 1 in general is known for not being good physical therapist and that the people who work for them are unprofessional or treat you like they're just putting you through a mill. This location, however, had higher ratings than others and so I thought to give it a chance at least for the one time and I could decide for myself. Nope. The negative reviews for this place about the front desk are beyond true to the extreme. I was racially profiled as a Black woman sadly, by the young Black girl at the desk(shameful), and the south east Asian physical therapist. They even went so far as when another client a white woman came in behind me to gossip about me audibly while I was sitting in the chair waiting, and when I confronted the young girl at the desk and told her how unprofessional that is, she didn't even deny it and was just like the woman asked me what happened so I answered her and then was like that woman herself was like oh you're the nicest person here these things never happen with you. So she's openly being unprofessional and using herself gossiping about a new patient -Who is in chronic pain by the way - like this isn't a nail polish appointment. We're coming to PT because our doctors have sent us here- to defend her behavior as opposed to being apologetic at any point. After traveling 45 minutes just to get there, I asked to speak to the physical therapist, hoping she would be better, but she continued the same thing of telling me that she would help me with my intake and I said fantastic. Let's do it. But instead of just doing it proceeded to give me a long lecture about how I was fortunate she was doing this for me and this is not supposed to happen and then when she's doing my medical intake, which is for nerve pain that's in my hands from cervical spine issues handed me her laptop and told me to type it out myself and then got impatient when I said no. Like it's not my job to be the secretary for the physical therapist? She also got annoyed when she asked for my medical history and I said I have bilateral chronic pain and she was like what does that have to do with why you are here today, and I was like I'm trying to tell you and she interrupted me and pulled up my referrals and told me what they say which I know and she's like what does this have to do with your back and I was like I'm literally trying to tell you you keep interrupting me. Anyway, even though I traveled all this way and have a 45 minute travel home this kind of tone deaf aggressive, abusive behavior, and especially since I'm a very calm, nice person and they were just treating me like I was hostile and aggressive because I am a Black woman and the stereotypes about Black women(which is shameful because on their website, the manager for this location is a Black man), so obviously I'm not gonna put my medical care into the hands of two people being hysterically aggressive and gaslighting me that I am being hysterical and aggressive. Do not come here if you want to be treated with kindness, and you are of a certain hue! Also, the fact that when you have any kind of reviews on here, even if they're negative, no one actually replies to apologize or defend it as you'll notice - instead someone could say something horrible happened to them and they just respond with a copy paste, message thanking people. Everything you've heard about Jag 1 is true, and this location is no exception."
