"The staff here are super helpful and friendly and as I was writing the elevator today, I noticed that some of the patients are super friendly to each other The only reason I wouldn't give it a five is because the building is pretty worn out and one of the elevators was not working so it was a pretty long wait getting up and down the floors today All in all though this is a great place and my friend is getting good care"
"We are happy with our excellent experiences with PT and OT, just as the online reviews had said. The first PT session with Rudolfo was very good as he was patient and thorough with his guidance. His manner was thoughtful and considerate. And he had a sense of humor. Victoria for OT lead my sister with good instructions and positive feedback. She explained the exercises, their purpose and how to do them. My sister had very positive PT sessions with Chynna and Megan also. She enjoyed working on her OT exercises with Yulene too."
"I want to say this was the best choice for my mom, it is so many people I want to thank so if I leave some one out please forgive me. .Ms Tajia is the one that brought my mom here she was very professional, attentive and always on top of things she is in charge of Admission .Mr Tremaine was the Director or Administrator the one in charge of the facility, very kind, nuturing , and he truly cares and looks out for your love one. He made my mom very happy by just "(Listening to her) this helps with the process of her getting better knowing someone truly cares. There Physical therapist, speech,OT, PT therapist everyone on that team. deserves a 5 star. Watching how involved they were with my mom , helping her get better, talking to her, Listening to her, making her laugh goes a long way , all of them were great but Mehran ( sorry if I spelled wrong) He has been there 30 Years or more he deserves an award and I can really tell he loved his job and he realy cares about People, he was very attentive , caring and most of all patient with my mom no matter what he was there.. Chyna, Kiara,Cierra, Johnathan Nicole, Serenity and a couple of her nurses I don't have there names but I'll come back and make sure I give them the credit they deserve for sure. "I am my aunt's emergency contact, and I traveled from out of state to visit her. When I arrived, I was led to her room, where her name was posted on the door. However, when I walked in, it was another patient entirely. Confused, I went to the nurses' desk, and it took five different staff members nearly ten minutes to figure out where my aunt actually was. Finally, I was told she had been sent to the hospital two days earlier because she missed her dialysis treatment -- a direct result of the facility failing to send her with the proper equipment. Eventually, a nurse named Margaret came to speak with me. Instead of taking responsibility, she tried to place the blame on the renal office, claiming they withheld treatment "for no reason," even though she knew the real cause. The lack of accountability was extremely concerning. To make matters worse, the entire facility smelled terrible, and the overall cleanliness was appalling. The fact that my aunt's room was mislabeled with another patient's in her room is unacceptable -- imagine how that patient's family would feel if they came to visit and couldn't find their loved one. As my aunt's emergency contact, I receive frequent calls from the facility, but only for trivial matters such as asking what days her dialysis is scheduled or which renal facility she attends -- things the staff should already know. Yet, when something truly critical happened, like her being hospitalized, I received no call at all. This was by far the most horrendous rehab facility I've ever experienced. I feel terrible for the patients who have no choice but to stay here, both because of the poor treatment they receive and the unclean environment. Families place their trust in these facilities to care for their loved ones, and this one has failed miserably."
"Absolutely had a great experience Cherrydale Rehab! After multiple life-threatening Surgeries back to back I was really in bad shape. :( Cherrydale came to the rescue and made all the difference in the world! The staff was very attentive and upbeat. The facilities were very nice and clean. Overall, I was very pleased. When I got to Cherrydale I couldn't even walk and now I'm walking again!"
"We're not convinced about how treatments/orders given by hospitals are then administered by this nursing facility. Nursing and therapy staff members are nice but the few people managing the file aren't always responsive, and family data entered in patient files are sometimes incorrect. Our friend who was very old died fast in this location, without any clear explanation. Could be his age but when he came out of the hospital, his only issue was not being able to live alone. Despite having a medical POA, the location never gave me the medical report after he passed away. We were not family members though. Unfortunately, this man did not have any family or relatives. I wouldn't recommend that place to your loved ones."
"I am writing this to share my own perspective and my mother's. My own- Cherrydale is a facility where many people are trying to do their best despite limitations. They are obviously short staffed. The staff who stuck around were wonderful. I truly appreciated the care that Frederick, Rodolfo, Caitlin, Samantha and Tanya provided for my mother. They were calm and encouraging and brought good energy into the room every time I was there. I don't know how many times I had to bug Jun and Daoud but they were patient with me. Bruce was kind and super helpful when I would go to him with any complaints. My all time favorite MVP is Ms. Wanda at the front desk. She made everything easier for me whether I was scared for my mom's health and recuperation or needed to know who to talk with next. She is a gift! My mom was grateful for support from Leo (speech therapy), Tanya, Frederick, Rodolfo, Marrin, Denise and anyone who brought her hot coffee when she asked. She misses them right now and felt like she really connected to them. She had some rough times there but the fact is she made it through with their help and is now at home independently ."
"I would not recommend Cherry Dale Rehabilitation Center to anyone seeking a safe and supportive environment for their loved ones. The staff consistently demonstrates unprofessionalism and a lack of compassion. Calls for assistance during the night are often ignored, and the overnight nursing staff is not only unsupportive but can also be extremely rude and dismissive. The conditions are also unacceptable. It is not uncommon for soiled diapers to be left in rooms until a visitor insists they be removed, which shows a clear disregard for basic hygiene and patient dignity. In some cases, call bells have even been taken away from patients to prevent them from requesting necessary help. Additionally, the rehabilitation team fails to provide encouragement or support. Instead, they are often demanding and discouraging, which undermines the very purpose of rehabilitation. If you want your loved one to be cared for with respect, professionalism, and compassion, I strongly urge you to avoid Cherry Dale Rehabilitation Center at all costs."
