"Dr. Joe Layug is world class. One of my biggest fears is that I know he eventually has to retire! He is knowledgeable, professional, skilled and compassionate. He takes the time to understand and explain the situation, and all the possible scenarios. I've known and used Dr. Layug as my go to for almost 20 years, and there have been easily a dozen different times where he tells me therapy will work and surgery isnt necessary, and the one time I needed a procedure (so far and hopefully for now), it was after every option was exhausted. He is the best case scenario for an Ortho. He is a trusted voice that I know will tell me what to do to get the best possible outcome, whether it was a freak stress fracture in my hip, or a meniscal tear. The only thing you should worry about is Dr. Layug inevitably retiring, because you got lucky to have him as your Dr."
