"I contacted this office to add acupuncture to my next fertility regimen. The first time speaking to the representative a few months ago he told me I would have to call my insurance and get the correct billing codes, low and behold the insurance companies do not give out this information to patients, so I attempted to set up an appt and he became repetitive in explaining I would pay out of pocket which I understood and was ok with doing but he continued to explain if I didn't have the money etc which was not the case so I did not move forward. Fast forward 3 months getting ready for another round of IVF so I start by calling the insurance and fertility insurance my regular BCBS states yes we cover 20 visits no copay I will call the office and go over it with them no problem. I call the next day to make an appt and I get another lecture on how if it's a muscular code they won't be able to bill the insurance and I would need to pay out of pocket. He had not received a prior authorization which he hasn't requested yet, so he won't be able to bill the insurance. After he admitted to speaking with the insurance company yesterday where she stated it covered 20 visits. I would have loved to use this business as part of my plan but at this point I'll drive further to have a better experience"
