"Athletico on Madison in Oak Park has been a game changer for me. Due to knee replacement and impending shoulder replacement surgeries, I have needed six months of pre-op and post-op physical therapy. I therefore have had opportunity to work with most or all the staff at this location. They have been uniformly professional and effective, from the front desk to the therapists. They are knowledgeable, responsive problem solvers who listen well to their clients different obstacles on the path toward healing. Their combination of people, protocols and equipment can't be beat. Special shoutout to the top morning crew of Charley, Matt, and Alma; and Tom, Autumn, and Darrell in the afternoons."

"Entire staff was A1. I always felt welcomed when I walked thru the door. My main physical therapist Tom Gorney got to know me, the extent of my accident (fall), the impact on my life. I was unable to work. I went from everything taking me twice as long as compared to my norm to going beyond my norm at discharge. I'm going to miss going. "I went to Atletico for PT after my knee replacement in 2024, and again for an arthritic shoulder in 2025. The Oak Park South location is near my home and has convenient parking. The Therapy Team is led by Tom who assessed me based on my Physician's diagnosis, upon arrival and explained the plan for my recovery. The exercises were not easy but logical and resulted me increasing in strength and flexibility. The ability of the Team at Athletico to occasionally switch off due to scheduling did not diminish the effectiveness of the accomplished therapy. My Surgeon was surprised at the speed of my progress. I would highly recommend Athletico to anyone needing Physical Therapy."

"I was incredibly fortunate to find a wonderful community through my physical therapy. PT has brought me something to look forward to throughout a tough recovery as the amazing physical therapists engage in thoughtful conversations and are always encouraging. In particular, Charle and Daryl have been incredibly helpful in my recovery and I greatly appreciate them. Physical therapy has taught me that although everyone has setbacks, the effort that you put into recovering is what's important. Because of PT, I have expanded my definition of friends to include a grandmother who gives me life advice, a dad who shares my love of football, a little girl who is interested in trying soccer because she watched me re-learn how to dribble, and so many more people I would have never imagined bonding with. My sister was a long-time patient at this facility, facing back-to-back ACL tears, both requiring surgery and 9 months of recovery.
