"Highly recommend Dr. Avis Leung. She is very specialized and professional; I have been impressed over my number of sessions. I was looking for the best physical therapy near me, but SpinlineRehab is even more specialized. Computer work, sitting all day typing has caused posture and hand/arm pain and symptoms. Felt a lot of tension on neck and aggravated carpal tunnel syndrome. I definitely don't want surgery, but am in need of carpal tunnel relief and treatment. The pain traveled up to my neck, shoulders, spine, lower back... I was surprised that she does not use traditional massage therapy, as that is what I have gotten for a solid 4 years (2-3 times a week) at other places. She explained that she uses a technique called visceral manipulation and neural manipulation (NM). It deals with fixing the organs and nerve pathways (I got brochures to learn more). The nerve controls everything, so it's very interesting, and the treatment is soft, with some working out of muscle knots as she sees fit. She helps with spine pain, and is very knowledgeable of spine anatomy, thoractic spine, cervical and lumbar - the human spine! Very happy to get help and relief. Look forward to my next session."
