His attentiveness to his patients is awesome, he listens to you, and he knowledgeable and is willing to do everything within his power to make you feel better, to make you feel comfortable and to understand what's going on with your body. He will work to get you from bad to awesome-- get you back on your feet. He'll do everything to that he can to make you better. "In November of 2017 I had a complete tear of my achilles tendon. I called a good friend and amazing upper extremity surgeon Dr. Mustapha Haque looking for a referral for my injury.He refereed me to Dr. Ben Stein. This was my first major surgery and Dr. Stein was quick, calming, and took great care of me. The surgery went well, met him several times over the course of 8 months and I was free to go by August of 2018. I also had a great PT Paulina Ochao who definitely play a huge part in my recovery. "I honestly don't have enough superlatives to describe Dr. Stein, Lauren George, or this practice. Top-flight expertise and great bedside manner, with amazing responsiveness and accessibility, are the hallmarks that combine to give me 100 confidence in the diagnosis, surgery, and aftercare I'm receiving. I went for a second opinion and Dr. Stein's X-ray and keen eye had him order a CT Scan showing 2 major additional broken bones that my first doctor had missed. "Dr Stein is an excellent orthopedic surgeon - particularly for anyone who is an athlete or active and demands a lot from their limbs. His PA and Clinical team are extremely responsive and helpful answering any questions you might have before or after surgery. I had already had one surgery on my foot from another Dr that didn't work. Dr Stein performed the surgery successfully by doing a more comprehensive repair as he identified additional issues that needed to be fixed. Throughout the pre-surgery process Dr Stein was very clear explaining what had gone wrong and what he likely needed to do. Afterwards during the recovery phase he provided very detailed instructions on how to rebuild strength in the operative limb - from recommended items to aid with elevation, a program to progressively weight load, and a comprehensive physical therapy schedule that provided movement limitations to help the PTs provide proper care. Every step of the way from day one to month six I knew what I was allowed to do and what I should work on."

"I had ankle surgery with Dr. Stein in Fall 2018 after a hockey injury left me with multiple ankle fractures. Dr. Stein and his team were professional, sympathetic, and answered questions in a timely matter. My surgery and rehab went well and I am now completely healed. "Dr Stein and his staff provided top notch care of my damaged Achilles tendon. He provided ample information on causes and treatment options, was easy to talk to, and did not rush. We first tried non-surgical treatment before deciding surgery was needed for reconstruction of the tendon. At every step pre and post op, I got clear written instructions on what would happen and what I needed to do. The surgical staff were total professionals. My very experienced physical therapist said that the incision was perfect , and that the tendon was reattached with just the right amount of tension.
