Montefiore Einstein Orthopedic Surgery - West Nyack

"Big location, lots of space, big waiting room. Staff could be a little more friendly. Waited about 30 minutes for the doctor and when he got there he spend less than 3 minutes with us, barely looked at the patient. Even if it is something simple I believe you want a doctor to take more time and look at all factors. I have to go back in two weeks. We will see then. While waiting for the next appointment I found another orthopedic and went there, the contrast on service what amazing and can not be compare. Do not recommend this location"

"I have a glass splinter in my finger for about six months. I couldn't get it out myself but now it's started to bother me a lot. I called to make an appointment. They took all my information over the phone, including my insurance. The phone call took about 15 minutes then I was sent an online check-in form which I needed to fill out that took another 20 minutes Of my time. I went to the appointment with my insurance Card and my license I have Aetna insurance. I waited online. I got to the reception. I gave him my license my insurance card. He had me more forms to fill out. I told him I filled all these forms out online he says I know, but you need to fill them out here too. I sat and filled out all my personal health information all over again and handed them back. He had another patient in front of him. He said I'll be right with you about 10 minutes later, he calls me up just to tell me they don't take my insurance. What a waste if I can give no stars I would. Because I don't have anything to review except incompetence of the staff."

"Dr. Jordan Simon has replaced both my hips. I couldn't be happier. With that said, everyone results will vary based on their own physical make up. My first replacement recovery in 2023 was more difficult due to not being able to maintain my physical fitness. I am 17 days post surgery from my second replacement and this recovery so far was much easier. I believe a big part was that I was able to get in very good shape after getting my first surgery, because my quality of life had improved. Preparing me for the second replacement that I knew was inevitable. Furthermore, the staff in the office are fantastic. Also, the entire staff we dealt with at Montefiore Nyack are second to none.
