She was professional, kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident going into surgery. Her staff is just as amazing -- especially her secretary Paula, who was so helpful, patient, and welcoming every time I called or came into the office. The entire experience was smooth and reassuring. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Karim and her team to my family and friends."

"I took a hard fall (due to black ice) and used my wrist to break the fall (ouch!). It began w/an Urgent Care visit to MedStar Fed. Hill. It was immediately after the fall. Then got a follow up 3 days later with the Orthopedic Dept at the main MedStar Hospital. The staff from the receptionists to the medical staff, X-ray Dept and therapy dept were all exceptional with care, their knowledge and what they've shared with me. Overall it was a very amazing medical visit with the Orthopedic Dept! Highly Recommend! A shout out to your amazing receptionists and medical staff: Martha, Delores, P.A. Eric, XRay Tech, Therapists Willie & Louise, ALL amazing!!! Love you all. I walked out a very happy patient."

"Everyone at the Hand center at MedStar Union Memorial was incredible ! All medical personnel should take lessons from these people on how to treat patients with respect and patience. Dr Means communicates easily and is very thorough when explaining a procedure and anticipated outcomes. He listens to questions and answers in understandable terms. He takes time and does not rush. It was a very positive experience and I will certainly return to Union Memorial for any Orthopedic problems I have. From the time I arrived there with my thumb injury to the follow up appointments, Dr. Joshua Daryoush and the staff have been phenomenal in giving me the proper care, answering questions as well as keeping me well informed of each step and as well as my progress. Because of Dr. Daryoush and the staff's expertise in my type of injury, I feel that the care and decisions made, played a major factor in reattaching my thumb and the recovery.
