Testimonials

"Our experience with Dr. Ahmed was nothing short of amazing. We went to see another surgeon before stumbling upon Dr. Ahmed's office and we are so thankful because our experience between the two appointments were night and day difference. We left the first appointment (previous doctor) confused, with so many questions and mostly just sad that there was no hope for this to be a successful surgery. After meeting with Dr. Ahmed we were instantly relieved. He explained to us all the possible outcomes of the surgery (good & bad) in a very calming and professional manner. He answered all of our questions with genuine care, did not rush us out and made sure we were comfortable moving forward with the information he gave us. He was able to accommodate us for a quick surgery turn around because I was very uncomfortable since my accident. Overall, Dr. Ahmed is a genuinely great doctor and a great human who ensures his patients are taken care of on every level. He genuinely cares for his patients full and speedy recovery which was critical in my case as we were operating on both hands simultaneously (meaning short or long term disability depending on operation outcome). Thank God we found him in the right time and I was back to my desk job the very next day post op. His staff and his residents were also a pleasure to work with. Post-op we followed up with him regularly to ensure everything was healing properly and thankfully there were no complications. With continued therapy and hard work I am able to get great range of motion in my left hand which had the more severe injury although almost every professional medical opinion ensured me that my left hand would never go back to even close to normal and my right hand is on its way to 100%. If you are looking for an orthopedic surgeon, look no further. You are in great hands here."

"My ten year old son had quite a traumatic experience that required the care of an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon. We were recommended to rush him to see Dr. Ahmed and his team of professionals. Throughout the entirety of my son's care Dr. Ahmed showed exceptional skill, knowledge, compassionate care, and an unwavering commitment to my son's well-being and healing. The staff's attentiveness and efficiency was a welcome relief at each follow up appointment, procedure, and with each phone call I made to the office. Dr. Ahmed's warmth and approach with my son was unparalleled. He took the time to answer each question my son had with great detail, making him feel valued, educated about what his next steps were, and treated my son with the utmost level of care. By the time my son needed an additional procedure, he was already instilled with such a profound sense of trust toward Dr. Ahmed from prior visits, that not one tear was shed. Beyond Dr. Ahmed's exceptional clinical and patient care skills, it is clear that he also serves as a dedicated educator and mentor to his residents. Dr. Ahmed has nurtured the importance of compassion and empathy so exceptionally that even our interactions with his residents indicate that they have adopted the same approach to patient care that Dr. Ahmed fosters. Simply put, Dr. Ahmed's unwavering commitment to patient well-being, his knowledge and his skills set him apart and we are grateful to have been under his care!"

"I saw this doctor regarding chronic elbow pain at the olecranon. I told him that I practiced martial arts and worked out often, and had been experiencing pain for many years. I told him, however, that I had not been doing anything active for over a year due to covid. I brought x-rays which showed bone spurs in both elbows, and told him that I thought those osteophytes were digging into the surrounding area and causing the constant pain. I told him that this was my hunch because I had not worked out or practiced martial arts for over a year due to covid, but I still had 24/7 pain. I also brought CT scans and an MRI but, after reviewing everything, he told me that he was not certain that surgery would help. Actually, he did not seem quite confident at all about what would help, despite me providing him with various test results. He suggested that I rest my elbows for two weeks and go for a nerve test. I had been resting my elbows for over 12 months and this doctor still decides to give me the generic "rest for two weeks, take Advil, and let's see how you feel". I definitely did not leave feeling heard. My nerve test was fine so nothing there, but there's no way I would return to this doctor. I did not feel like he had the skill or confidence to help with my situation. Pain is still there..."
