"I hope that you don't require Physical Therapy, but if you do, this is the place to get support! The entire facility is outstanding and they all care for their patients! While I am sure that everyone is very good, I have to tell you that my physical therapist Fei is outstanding. She listens, she cares and I see improvement with strained Achilles tendon. I feel confident that my days of power walking are right around the corner! The rest of the team that I have encountered (Brittany, Jackie, Isella (sp?) and Barbara are always friendly and efficient. Cindy Roa the Therapy Supervisor must be an outstanding leader! If you have a chance, ask for Fei, as long as it doesn't interfere with her as my PT! She is incredible (I know I am repeating myself, but she is worthy of all the praise I can give her)!"
"I was the patient not my wife! The Shady Grove Rehab nurses were ALL EXCELLENT including their assistances who were not nurses! Physical Therapists were all EXCELLENT as well as the Occupational therapists! The meals were also delicious! I must admit the three doctors on your staff were not good! They changed my heart medication without my approval! My blood pressure went over 205! Thank GOD my nurses told the doctors to put me back on my meds and my blood pressure went down! They were the only doctors I would give them 1 STAR! Rick Weinert"
"My stay at Adventist Healthcare Rehabilitation was a life-changing experience. The staff's compassion, kindness, and professionalism were evident in every interaction. During my three-week stay, I received outstanding care from technicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists. They not only helped me recover but also equipped me with the skills to maintain my independence. I'm thankful for their dedication and expertise. Thank you so much. LTC (R) Hartley"
"My 87-year-old mother had a stroke in February 2025 and was sent to Adventist Health Care Rehab. It was a wonderful experience, and my mother received excellent care. Dr. Patel is an amazing physician, and I received updates from her most every day on my mom's condition. She was caring and compassionate and worked to get the right balance of medications to give my mom the best possible chance of recovery. The therapist were also fantastic for OT, PT and Speech. My mom had several but Morgan, Madeline, Sam, Susan and there was one speech therapist (I believe it was Miriam) that used a fantastic technique in order to get my mom to eat an entire peach cobbler. My mom was not eating very much because of the stroke and would pocket her food. The tech told her that she made the peach cobbler and asked my mom to help her out to make sure it was not too sweet and then she asked if she used to much cinnamon. By the end of the session, my mom had eaten it all. I have told this story a dozen times now and employ that technique myself in working with mom. It makes all the difference in the world. All of the healthcare workers and social workers as well are true angels, and I thank them for caring for my mom. I highly recommend this facility. The photos I am attaching are of a therapy session with the trained therapy dog."

"My mother went for rehab and received excellent PT-OT, wound care was very good, and the doctors and nurses were attentive and very good as well. The best acute or subacute care she has ever experienced."
"Loved it. The staff was great, professional and caring in a really clean and top notch facility. I thought that them having their own patient rooms apart from the hospital was fantastic. I would definitely recommend rehab and not worry if I had to use them again. Both Shady Grove Rehab and hospital are top notch quality and I'm glad they were there for me when I needed them."
"Inpatient: I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the outstanding staff who made my rehabilitation experience truly exceptional. First and foremost, I would like to recognize my three physical therapists--Angie, Jill, and Shari--for their passion and expertise. They consistently challenged me to push my abilities while carefully correcting improper movements and postures to ensure safe and effective progress. When pain limited my performance, they applied targeted soft tissue techniques that provided relief and allowed me to maximize the effectiveness of each training session. Thanks to their unwavering commitment, skillful guidance, and personalized care, I was able to regain my functional abilities. I would also like to express my gratitude to Laura at the front desk, whose warm smile and welcoming service always made patients and families feel at home. Her kindness created a comforting, supportive atmosphere that truly made my stay feel like being among family. In addition, I want to acknowledge nurse liaison Jason, who ensured my admission process was smooth and efficient. His professionalism, clear communication, and thoughtful guidance reduced stress during the transition and allowed me to focus fully on my recovery. I am also deeply thankful to nurse Joanna Chen, nurse Eva, and charge nurse Yen. They went above and beyond to respond promptly to my needs, providing exceptional care with compassion and efficiency. Their dedication and timely support brought me comfort and directly contributed to my progress. Together, this remarkable team has made a lasting impact on my journey to recovery. I am truly grateful for their commitment, skill, and kindness. Outpatient: I want to thank Misty for being an exceptional physical therapist -- knowledgeable, attentive, and highly skilled. From my very first session, she took the time to understand my condition, goals, and challenges. She explains everything clearly, provides valuable education about proper techniques and posture, and tailors exercises to maximize my recovery. Misty knows exactly what I need -- she pushes me just enough to help me make real progress while keeping each session safe and effective. Her professionalism, encouragement, and dedication make every visit productive and motivating, and I've seen steady improvement under her care. It's a pity that Misty will rotate to another location in mid-November -- I truly wish she could stay at the Shady Grove site. I will greatly miss her outstanding care, expertise, and positive energy."
