Testimonials
"I worked with Joby and the team over the last 5 weeks. The dry needling and massage helped relieve the inflammation in my hip. The stretches and strengthening exercises have helped as well. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this location to friends and family."
"Outstanding PT! Facility is easy access with everything necessary, but it's the highly professional staff that really makes this location special. Over the past several months I've worked with three physical therapists (PTs)... Joby, Carrie and Marina: each expert and an absolute pleasure to work with. Their process to assess, prescribe, and implement a course of therapy is on point... my chronic lower back and shoulder pain is always improved upon finishing a session, and better for the long-term as well. PT assistants Nicole and Justin are great at coaching through a course of therapy. Administrator Sarah makes scheduling a breeze and effectively coordinates with prescribing agencies and doctors. While I haven't worked with everyone at this location, simple observation clearly shows how each staff member meets the highest standards in a culture of calm expertise and contagious work ethic."
"I just finished PT after my knee replacement and this Athletico location is outstanding. Since they are so busy, I worked with 3 different PTs and they were all great. They take time to understand your current status and adjust the massages and exercises. The assistants who usually oversee the standard exercises are attentive and helpful."
"I am so unbelievably grateful for Carrie, a phenomenally knowledgeable Physical Therapist, and her attention and care for me and my knee. After an intense knee surgery, I was in need of additional PT, and from my very first session, Carrie was consistently a good listener, respected my feelings, and honored my pain, progress, and situation. She always put me first and acknowledged that I knew my body best. Every session was catered and personalized to what I needed at the moment and she never defaulted to a standard routine. From icing to taping, to using a variety of PT tools, I was always impressed with her dedication to my case and her genuine desire to heal me. Carrie never seized to impress me with her knowledge as she would be quick to grab a knee model and name ligaments, tendons, and their functions to help my understanding. I really valued how she stayed on top of my health by being in constant communication with my surgeon, knee specialist, and keeping records of my images and paperwork. What I most appreciated about my over two months of being Carrie's patient, is how in tune she was with how I was feeling and what I needed. She never questioned my pain or tolerance--at every stage, she acknowledged and respected my sentiments. Carrie never dismissed what I felt about my knee (although at times it was difficult for me to explain!) and she always, always believed me. As a patient, this level of sincerity and trust is essential. Because of this environment, my journey was not forced, but a natural progression at the right pace for me. In addition, the PT aids Michelle, Pooja, and Kate were incredible in contributing to successful sessions by being fast, eager to help, and attentive to me, staying by my side while I did exercises. They were truly compassionate professionals who consistently made sure I felt secure and supported. Thank you, Athletico for providing me sure wonderful healthcare and especially for Carrie, who gave my knee some much needed TLC."
"Chan is a very good Physical Therapist he really knows what to do. And has helped me tremendously with my issues. And the rest of the staff there are very attentive."
"Omg! From the moment I step into Athletico until my appointment is over, I have always had the most incredible experience with my physical therapy. Most of my appointments have been with Joby, who is an excellent therapist. I have chronic back pain, usually associated with the curvature of my spine, pushing on my muscles, to intensify my pain. Joby starts out with an incredible massage, always pressing down on my worst area and loosening the muscle. Joby has magical hands! Plus he's given me dry needling a few times. Always improves my pain the next day very much. The receptionists are exceedingly kind, helpful and greet you with a smile! And all the technicians that work with Joby are fantastic too. Super kind, attentive and supportive. All in all, I would definitely recommend Athletico in Morton Grove as the perfect place to have rehab physical therapy!! I still have trouble walking very far, but I'm stronger than ever (big improvement) and feel more hopeful about my recovery."
"Fabulous staff. . Therapist Carrie Rose has helped me so much and taught me practical tips that I can do at home to help me manage a chronic condition. Nicole and Justin assist Carrie in helping me heal as well. Great service from the whole team."
"My experience with Joby was great. His professionalism and knowledge made my recovery all that much better. He also provides great positive feed back and makes physical therapy an enjoyable place to be. Hats off to you Joby."
