"I have been calling for three weeks almost a month to get what is supposed to be a stat appointment, my doctors office and myself haven't been able to get through because no one answers the phone! I received a call today from Ann who has the absolute worst customer service! She introduced herself and immediately says we've contacted you about three weeks ago to schedule your appointment, I said I called right back and have been calling since and as I'm explaining she cuts me off with " um um yea ok well would you like to schedule the appointment " I said yes and she asked question as I'm answering she got what she wanted from the answer and cuts me off again! I said are you going to allow me to finish my sentence? She goes yes go ahead! I completed my sentence set the appointment I asked for her name said it and slammed the phone down! People don't understand being ugly to someone you have to see in person isn't smart! Someone should train her better she makes health care workers look bad!"

"My mother was a pt of Dr. Vaughn, a pain specialist. My mother has a condition in which she suffers with chronic pain. She has tried a number of different pain medications and non-phramacological measures and nothing has helped with my mothers pain. My mother does have past conditions that affect her from being able to take certain meds, therefore, treatment becomes limited. This review is based off of how this doctor spoke to my mother, she told my mother that she doesn't understand why my mother cries when she sees her. My mother cries because you had told her, the pain specialist, there is nothing else you can do for her. Do you know how devastating it is to hear those words from your doctor? How hard it is to deal with chronic pain. Pain that is constant each and every day. This is why she cried. She confided in you, someone that is suppose to and chose a profession in which should show some sympathy, some compassion. All I can say is think before you speak, think of how your pts much feel living with pain, put yourself in someone else's shoes. Because if you can't show some compassion, I don't know what drove you into the profession. If I could give you zero stars I would, but it doesn't allow me to."

"First let me say the quality of care for my husband at Advocate has always been great but the total incompetence of the network of people who setup appointments then cancell or change them to the staff convenience is at question here..on Sept 11 my husband William was told his time was changed from1:30 to 2:30 on Sept 12 th he disputed it they told in on the phone ok Mr King come at 1:30 upon our arrival we were told he could NOT be seen till 2:30 my husband had back surgery a while back and was out of med...to see my husband sitting in pain with his walker sit for A entire HOUR because of a NETWORK of people taking appointments lying then tell you to show up force your spouse to sit and wait through Advocates pain management team member at the front desk on 7th floor treat him with disrespect about arrival time..l will NEVER forget this all started with a change of app.the phone log if you listen will here them say please come in at 1:30..They lied and after driving to get there early my husband still SAT A FULL HOUR ..will never forget this even the Administrator who did very little except say ..l will look into it .ADVOCATE PAIN management you dropped the ball on this one ...l will never forget this experience with my husband William he won't either because today on Sept 13 he still has no prescription for pain because it was too late for the Pharmacy to fill it on the 12th ..Please know that after Retiring from 25 yrs of customer service myself."

"I am a Lvad patient who has been dealing with extreme rib rub due to my small frame and a device being placed under my rib cage is very painful I have been fighting to get in a pain clinic since may I was told I had to be 6 month pre opt in order to get into the clinic after I made 6 months I continued to have the run around so today which is Sept 25th I visit the Lvad clinic and I was told to call the pain clinic so I did left a message a woman called me back I didn't get her name she was very rude and not helpful to the situation at all she stated the nurse practitioner decided not to take me on as a patient in may due to past marijuana use way before I even had my surgery I told them I would agree to be randomly drug tested to prove I have been clean of marijuana for almost a year she hung up in my face I tried to call back only to not get a answer service is terrible I wouldn't send my dog here"
