"Had two appointments that took more than an hour to be seen by the doctor. My first appointment was at 1130 AM, and wasn't seen until after 2 PM. On my second appointment I waited over an hour and ask how long the wait was was told I was next by two people. A half an hour later, I was told 10 to 15 minutes. The girl advised me that I should take the first appointment so I don't have to wait. Basically, if you have an appointment don't expect to be seen at that time. The staff doesn't even advise you that you would have to wait that long, and another thing, they pick and chose who is going to get seen next. I respect the time they have allotted me and they should do the same. If you want a doctors' office that cares, don't go there! I want to spend my money where the doctor cares about my time. I'm not the only person it happened too."

"Hi, Dr. Cangemi is TOP-NOTCH! However, Jersey Rehab's office staff is NOT to be believed! While Jersey Rehab are considered IN-NETWORK (Horizon BSBC) they employ individuals on-site from a non-network vendor called Drugscan (s/b Drugscam) who bill your insurer crazy enormous amounts! Seriously, Drugscan billed Horizon $983.88 for drug screen! Horizon paid $83.88! Now I am being asked to provide an addition $119.66! Now, I do understand Jersey Rehab needs instant drug screens, as I am sure drug addicts come in seeking pain medications all the time, but really, if you agree to a schedule of billing rates so as to be IN-NETWORK, you are breaching the contract you struck with Horizon by allowing the non-network vendor access to my address to bill me. Anyway, getting back to their abysmal office staff, in just one visit, they managed to: 1) wrote two orders [one for MRI and one for a nerve impulse test] showing the wrong surname, 2) sent three medication prescriptions to an out-of-state pharmacy electronically ("Julia" at Walgreen's N.A. was able to retrieve) 3) did not give me the back-brace the physician ordered (despite my interrupting their laughing at the doctor's mode of writing a routing slip) he did so on the end of the sheet covering the examining table - hysterical right? Finally, 4) their "Veronica" failed to secure authorization for the MRI, as she did not provide an overview of my diagnosis to my insurer in a timely fashion. Again, can find no fault with Dr. Cangemi, but his office staff can kill you! I had no resource but to see another pain management physician in Kearny. P.S. Just spoke to "Charlie" at Drugscan, and while I am still not happy about how everything went down, THIS man seems knowledgeable and willing to help."
