"I traveled out of state to visit Dr. Patel and she recommended a spinal stimulator. The claim initially was denied by insurance, and I needed her to change one thing on her appeal letter within 60 days. I called her office every day for weeks and I could not get ahold of her. Eventually, the 60 day window closed and her admin had the nerve to tell me to travel back to NYC and start the process again. Dr. Patel never apologized for leaving me hanging. Additionally, her bedside manner is more that of a salesperson than an actual doctor. Imagine that I already got the surgery and something went wrong, I would not trust this doctor not to ghost you. Finding a good doctor is hard, but patients deserve better than Dr. Patel,"

"Dr. Kiran Patel was the first doctor after FOUR years to tell me she had a way to restore me. I had been in so much pain, so unable to walk safely, so frustrated that this could be the rest of my life.... But then this beacon of hope and honesty came to me and now as I mend I can finally say I not only have hope again, but an extraordinary respect for such a prestigious doctor who is a force to be reckoned with. She's the boss of me any day and any of the other reviews that speak of her demeanor, well you're not seeing that she is the best of the best! You are lucky just SEE her. AND if she were a man, none of you would bawk. A beautiful talented healing woman that's the KING of the OR. Go Dr. Patel! Also looking at other reviews... yes she's busy, maybe checking the phone, I don't care, because she's a rockstar and so imagine you get the best surgeon or rather car mechanic in Manhattan. They may be checking their phone for parts as genius people multitask. They may specialize in certain kinds of cars, doesn't mean they won't fix your bmw, but your Toyota can be cured! I'm Just saying would you not rather a person to say upfront if they can help you instead of a YES person? Just find another doctor? DO NOT bash a wonderful specialist for being able to help those she can."

"Excellent Pain management practice. Amazing physician and staff. The office was well organized and the staff was helpful and courteous. Dr. Patel explained the issues and the different treatments in an understandable manner. She took the time to insure we understood all of the options and addressed our concerns. Dr. Patel spent as much time with us as we needed. I will highly recommend this practice to any of my family and friends that may require this type of treatment. PS I read the prior reviews and observed they fall into 2 categories - 5 star and 1 star which is unusual. When you have pain it is a poor quality of life. All patients want it made better but that is not always easy or possible and the physician can only be expected to implement the best treatment possible. No physician can guarantee and can only insure a "good" process. In my case it is still uncertain whether the treatment will work but that does not diminish Dr. Patel's compassion and skill as a physician. Keep that in mind when you read some of the reviews."
